Disclaimer: sorry I talk so much.
Okay, so, taking a look at some of my symptoms, and doing a bit of research on the subjects - both here and elsewhere, I'm starting to wonder if issues with either of these two things could be the source of some of my problems.
See, over the past few months, since I started treating, some new things have popped up. I was getting better for a bit, then things sort of fell apart. I had labeled it as the medicines just not working properly anymore, and me needing to try something else, which might still be the case (to some degree). But, this stuff could be present too.
Some of the symptoms..
I'll get these short, little bursts of excitement sometimes, then, others, I'll be exhausted for seemingly no reason. Sometimes, I'll sleep and sleep and sleep. Others, I'll only sleep for a couple few hours.
For example, earlier, I woke up, having slept for about six hours, which is a decent amount, and felt alright. But, then, not even three hours later, I was overcome with extreme tiredness. I'd done nothing but make some food, then lie in bed, on the web. Nothing that would warrant me being so tired. Then, woke up less than an hour later and was fine.
Also, the lightheadness upon standing.
Also, I've developed more and more food allergies, as the months have gone by. Adrenal/thyroid can cause that, right? I really don't want to be having a problem with them, but those seem like textbook symptoms, at least the ones before the dietary sensitivities.
Though, even if they aren't the cause, I just found some articles speaking on how eating foods you've reactions to can stress the adrenals further, so it still ties in.
But.. Again, this has all, for the most part, started happening AFTER beginning treatment. I would get the bouts of fatigue before, but not as consistently.
That said, what should I do to begin with? Nearly every source I've pulled information from recommends getting tested, all these different tests, and, while I realize that's the best approach, I'm not in a position to be doing those yet. There are some at-home methods for testing the adrenals I saw on a site linked in another post. I can do those.
But, will you guys be able to recommend good supplements based on the results? I already take Eluethero, but, from what I've heard, that's nowhere near enough.
If it's a problem, I want to take care of it, before it gets worse, even if it means just sort of putting a bandaid or a little glue on it 'til I can get it stitched up for good, especially considering that I'm sort of at a crossroads in my life that's going to require me to be working.
I don't want to exacerbate things too much and make myself sicker, 'cause, as much as I don't care to be working right now, and don't think I'm ready, I have to, if I want to give myself more of a chance to heal. What my one, sole relative who cares enough to help me/has the money has been providing so far is simply not enough.
So, yeah, I want to offset the negative effects of straining my body enough to where I can, hopefully, start to see some benefits from having the ability to fatten up my treatment protocol.
Thankfully, I have the luxury of being able to work part-time, being able to pick my shifts (6 hours at a time), put all the money toward healing, and stuff, but still. If I crash, I am screwed.
Any help given would be appreciated. Thanks, guys. Cya later.
