A LLND is great. That's who I see here in Canada - we don't have LLMD's (well - we have one, but he does a modified version of the Marshall protocol...which i'm not interested in)

If you are wanting to go the herbal route - then great - go for it!

If you're wanting to do antibiotics or a combo of both...then you will need to find out if the ND is licensed to prescribe abx. I'm not sure if it's an individual State law...as that is what it is here in Canada - some provinces they can prescribe, others can't.

Because my body responds better to herbs and natural medications, I prefer ND's and other practitioners that use them. They should be highly trained for Lyme, but other than that, I think it's a good choice. Depending on state laws, some ND's can even use pharma abx.
