Hi OP
I think it's more important to provoke a more accurate response using Olive Leaf Extract to get a positive IgG/IgM in lieu of the comprehensive 6050, which includes IFA screening test, Western Blot IgM & IgG, and PCR tests. And spend your $ testing for co-infections instead. Hopefully others will chime in with their opinions/experiences.
Here is more about
supporting your immune functions before you take your lyme test:
www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=3456121Regarding the CD57—lyme specialists previously used this test to look for lyme, but it's best used to simply indicate your level of immune functioning. Many LLMDs now use it to establish a baseline before you start treatment and then check in every now and then. Mine was 34 when I first started seeing my LLMD, after a year of difficult treatment and lots of setbacks, it was 27 or something (can't remember, but it was lower). Some experts put the healthy level at 200 but that is also controversial.
Regardless, it's a good measurement of immune response and in context with negative lyme tests (that could very well be falsely negative) and a solid clinical presentation of lyme, they can help your LLMD diagnose.
Hope this helps
