What are your worst 3 symptoms from Lyme?

1) Leg & upper thigh weakness: issues w/ walking, (R) knee won't bend properly- (L) knee is becoming worse... weird gait cycle, if you could call it a gait cycle, LOL

2) Neuralgia (numbness, icy/hot/frozen-burning feelings) in lower legs/feet

3) Secondary to the leg weakness I have pretty bad tendonitis in both shoulder ('cause as I say, I "walk on my arms.") Got OK from LLMD in US to have GP give me Depo-Medrol shots once every 3 mos to ease this pain. Helps the pain, and is local not systemic so likely OK...

Leg weakness
Anxiety/panic attacks
Poor memory/cognitive dysfunction

Hair loss
Vision problems
Insomnia

1. Terrible chronic lymph node pain behind/under ears
2. Concentration/Focus/Cognitive Issues
3. Fatigue/Wired Tired

These crop up when I herx hard (and were all more acute before I started treatments):
Insomnia
Gripping Anxiety
Blurry vision
Neuropathy (biaxin herx, never noticed neuropathy issues till biaxin hit the pathogen)
Pain at back of head/neck

I think lyme was not considered as heavily in my case because a lot of my core issues stemmed from neuro-cog stuff without a lot of the "classic" physical symptoms. My main physical symptom was the lymph node pain and pain at back of head.

1) Leg weakness due to knee pain - 25 years old and can barely bend down to pick up my children
2) OCD
3) Irritability due to everything hurting

1: Off balance/ unsteady ground
2: Brain fog
3: Extreme fatigue

1. Nerve pain - upper left shoulder blade/back, left arm, hand,fingers

2. vibrations in body

3. head stuff - pressure, light-headedness, off-balance

1. Nerve pain- left leg, foot, arm and hand

2. Thick blood- circulation issues

3. Feeling like crap every day from 3-5 pm

1. Fatigue/sleepiness spells
2. Cognitive/Focus/thinking/memory
3. Dizziness/Balance issues/Swaying motion

a. Headaches/head pressure
b. Anxiety/depression
c. Periodic pains in neck, back, etc.

These are the most common but in any given day, 1 if not more of these attack me at any time for whatever length of time and are very intense.

3)Arthralgia (migrating arthritis in knees, shoulders toes and hands)
4)Fluctuating brain fog, short term memory loss
5)Fluctuating skin lesions
6)Sore soles of feet and planter fascitis

Low energy, pain (specifically in my SI joint and all the "butt muscles" around it - whole leg has gotten very weak but getting better with PT), and anxiety.

I think bartonella might be kicking my butt with these lately though.

Pain in the back of my head behind my ear.
Pulsing heartbeat in my ears and my whole body.
Ears feel stuffy or full.
Feels like a lady with a high heel is stepping on my back below my windwing.
Swallowing is different.
Neck feels strange when I move it. Stiff, achy and definitely grinding sounds.
Sleeping poorly, weird dreams.
Swimming in cold water alleviates all symptoms!

Have not been diagnosed positive. Dr. appt in 15 days. He is in high demand.

PeteZa - swimming in cold water....that's interesting you should say that...because I have no tolerance for the cold weather - winter was killing me....
BUT - I have been going up to the lake with my husband for a swim this summer...and although it's hard for me to get in and dunk.....once I'm in...it feels so good. I'm floating, and my body pain is pretty much gone. and the cold water doesn't bother me at all.
I'm finding my range of motion on my left arm, etc is much better in the water, too....

And after I get home, the rest of my day is usually pretty good, too.

1. slurred speech/unilateral facial & throat pain
2. Cognitive Dysfunction
3. Fatigue

I've got plenty more but those are top 3!

Deep muscular aching tops of legs only at night when I'm ready to wind down,
bottom of feet feel like walking on bone
Pins-n-needles in arms & legs
Fatigue,
Roaming joint pain & muscle stiffness

I HATE THE MOST that this disease has caused food intolerance and mood disorders/anxiety/LCD-it messes w/my head too much-" I'm worthless because I can't work, I can't carry the laundry up-n-down the stairs. I HATE that I've become even more dependent upon my husband who already 'brings home the bacon"!!!

Chest pressure/tightness- all of the muscles in my chest area tighten up when I herx. It feels like a weight on my chest.

Fatigue- no motivation or energy to do things

Joint damage

Eye issues- irritation, floaters, swollen eyelids in the morning.

I'm really surprised to see so many people with dizziness, leg weakness and balance/gait issues. I really thought those symptoms were in the minority on this board.

1. Dizziness

1. Leg weakness. Have to stay off my feet most of the day or I'll pay for it.

2. Loose stools and digestive issues. I think 1 and 2 are related and have something to do with poor nutrient absorption.

3. Brain fog/ wooziness/ headache/ dizziness.

After last Saturday's out-of-control emotional episode and argument w/the hubby;

I'm feeling like THE WORSE symptoms are the inability to control emotions and anxiety/irritability that's caused by being in pain ALL THE TIME
