Lyme cysts, confused!

Hi everyone, I was reading on a site a person talking about having lyme cysts, lyme cysts or her thyroid, lyme cysts on her ovaries, among other places...

My question is How would she know this...?

I ask because I have hemangiomas all through my body which I've been told is not common, and were picked up through ct scan...in my thyroid, spine, etc...makes me wonder...hmm....

When I went back and read it again it said was discovered through ct...is that possible? Sounds too simple...

Are you talking about the cystic form of lyme? If so, it is microscopic...you can't see it on a CT scan.

Or, are you talking about cysts, ie. a fluid filled sac - on your thyroid/spine, etc.?

I'm guessing what she means is that lyme is causing cysts to form in these areas. When you have lyme you have lyme cysts, but they are microscopic and all over the place, I haven't read anywhere that the specific lyme cyst form causes larger general cysts to form. But ya never know!

hmm, interesting thanks for that link. Buhner is usually on the money when it comes to lyme so I tend to trust most whatever he has to say and his treatment recommendations.

The OP is just confused. She have had some kind of cysts on her thyroid and ovaries, but as has been said, Lyme cysts certainly can't be seen with anything other than a microscope.

I used to get cysts on my ovaries too, but they were blood filled. They had nothing to do with Lyme, other than Lyme messed up my body.
