herbs with antibiotics?

Japanese Knotweed root - 500 mg.- It is an antiviral, immunomodulator, immunostimulant, laxative, diuretic, expectorant, antitussive and a capillary stimulant.

Cat's Claw vine bark - 500 mg. - powerful immune system-modulating and stimulating properties, along with pronounced anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-infectious effects

Eleuthero root - 430 mg. - Adaptogenic, hypocholesterolemic, choleretic, hypoglycemic,6,8 tonic, diuretic, stimulant

Sarsaparilla root - 110 mg.- It has activity against other gram negative bacteria and also antifungal properties, decreases effects of die off (herxheimer reaction)

Dandelion herb - 110 mg.- Detoxifying effects / antioxidant

GSE extract - 250 MG- Cyst Buster (breaks down the round "defensive" form of the bacteria and allows antibiotics to do their job). This may only effect the gut, however.


Banderol, Microbial Defense - unsure - antiviral, antifungal, antibacterial, antiparasitic, antimycoplasma, antiprotozoal, antirickettsial, anti-inflammatory.

Vegarden - "My test are still showing that my body is still making antibodies" - I wouldn't keep getting tests to see if you are better. The tests will most likely continue to show antibodies even AFTER you have healed.
The only way to know you are healed - is symptom resolution.

You have been treating for a couple of months, is that correct? If so, that is not long if you have Chronic lyme. You mentioned 'second dose' of antibiotics
- do you mean second month?

Is your LLMD adding another antibiotic to the doxycycline?

Regarding herbal treatment - Buhner is one that I like. It's not expensive and you can order the herbs from internet sites.
But, I would buy the individual herbs separately. So, buy Japanes knotweed and Cat's Claw, etc. in separate bottles...not combined in one capsule... This way you can start with one herb at a time...before adding in the second herb.
