Sick5 - my offer still stands, but we have offered you more information than the CDC has to convince people that there is such a thing as a false positive - which there isn't.
There are some states that have passed laws that doctors now have to explain to patients that when they get a negative Lyme test, it doesn't mean they don't have Lyme. There are no laws being passed saying that these same doctors have to explain that a positive result isn't necessarily positive for Lyme even if it's on a Lyme specific band.
Plus, even the CDC says on their website that these tests are not to be used to determine if you have Lyme:
"If left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system. Lyme disease is diagnosed based on symptoms, physical findings (e.g., rash), and the possibility of exposure to infected ticks. Laboratory testing is helpful if used correctly and performed with validated methods. "
www.cdc.gov/lyme/ And this is why we question you, you aren't seeing the whole picture, only focusing in on one statement and won't respond to the information that we have already shared that refutes the one statement that you are hanging on to.
I honestly don't know what else we can say, other than to keep repeating the same information over and over again.
