GSE ok with azithromycin?

I know grapefruit juice is not good to take with macrolides, but what about grape seed extract?

I'm currently on mino and zithromax. I want to add in herbals for biofilm and cyst form. Any suggestions?

When I was on biaxin - my LLND told me to take GSE with it.
(biaxin is another Macrolide)....so I'm assuming he would know if it was contraindicated.

So GSE works for biofilm and cyst busters?

Or am I better off with samento?

My LLND has me taking biaxin along with GSE (like Girlie). I think GSE works for both biofilm and cyst busting. Samento is supposed to be pretty good as well. I'm supposed to add that in down the line. For the GSE I take the Davinci brand, 400mg. My llnd has a pharmacy background so I trust him on being well-versed in interactions, I don't think he'd have me taking GSE with biaxin if that posed an issue.

What you could do is work in the GSE or samento into your regimen, and then down the line add the other one in. Should give you greater coverage. At least with samento that normally shouldn't have any interaction issues with the abx from what I know of it.

I can't speak specifically towards azithromycin and GSE interaction, but from a quick google search it seems like people have taken the two together. Hopefully more members here can give us info.

GSE is fine with zithromax. It is only a cyst buster. I took serrazymes as a biofilm buster.

ok, just please do be careful with gse, they say it can be estrogenic, and it doesnt agree with everyone. it surely didnt agree with me - worth a try though! just pay attention to how you feel. start slow. i got major anxiety and headaches from it.

Estrogenic - means having properties of or similar to estrogen.

(estrogen is the 'female' hormone (even though males have it in lesser amounts)

I had not heard of GSE having estrogenic properties.

There's some studies refuting the purity of the supplement. That it has chemicals in it. Can't trust anything these days! So serrapeptase is not effective for cysts?

Serrapeptase is for biofilms but not cyst form...
