Can herxes be extremely mild?

I have been on tetracycline since 8/26 and rifampin since 8/28. I also pulse tindamax on weekends (Fri, Sat, Sun). I seem to have "worse pain days" and "normal days." I was also like this before the treatment, but maybe the pain is a tiny bit worse on the bad days, or the pain is in a different location than normal. But truly, my herxes don't sound nearly as bad as many of you make it out to be. I am not incapacitated. I wouldn't be able to go to work and be on my feet all day, but I make it to my 3 hour classes and get through just fine.

I have been really on top of my detoxing (epsom salt baths, dry skin brushing, alka seltzer gold, lemon water). I also adhere to the Lyme diet very strictly (no sugar, no gluten, very very little dairy). Is it possible that sticking to detoxing and the diet so closely is causing my herxes to be so mild?

I know I should not be complaining about this; but I think it is driving me insane. It makes me think at times that this is all in my head and I am not actually sick (though I was CDC positive for Lyme). How am I supposed to know when I am truly better if I don't feel all THAT bad to begin with? My "normal" days I sometimes feel just that - absolutely normal.

Most definitely!

My herxes aren't overly horrible. Admittedly, I've dealt with some weird symptoms but I've remained functional for the most part.

I believe it's two weeks before a Tindamax herx manifests. And, Dr. B says that people usually experience their worst herx about 4 wks. into treatment.

Don't slack off with your detoxing - you're doing great!!!
