Yes, I've got it. I'll have had it for about
3 years, this Christmas. It was all I could think about
, when it first appeared. It consumed me. But, over time, I've gotten used to it, in some ways. Though, I feel like that's partially due to the the possibility of it having lessened in intensity quite a bit, compared to the beginning.
It's been awhile, but I seem to remember it being much louder. Also, I had a lot of pains, burning in my ears before, during, and a bit after, which, I'm guessing, was due to the infection taking root.
But, yeah, it seems to be one of the common symptoms, and, yes, for most, it never leaves, at least I don't think.
Treatment might get rid of it, or at least alleviate it, yeah. Though, it's hard to say, as it all depends - the person, the infection(s), the length of infection, the severity. Sometimes, the damage has been done, and people bear the scars for life. I'm sure there are a few here, or were here, considering they don't frequent the forum as much anymore, that have healed, yet could still speak on some symptoms post-Lyme.
This stuff's really hard on us.
Hopefully, that won't be the case for you. Tell yourself it won't be, and, for now, just focus on healing.
I'm hoping that you can get the treatment you need, knock your particular infection(s) out of the park.
Good luck.
