Hello twin!
I didn't click the links to read the posts that Revive and I have done in the past so if it is a repeat of info I apologize!
There are some folks that do go to an Apitherapist to get started and get on going treatment. Neither Revive or I did it this way.
We both do this treatment on our own.
You can search for an Apitherapist by looking on www.apitherapy.org
My story with BVT started with seeing it first mentioned on a Facebook post from the Texas Lyme Association, this was early on in my diagnosis and I personally thought it was wild. I even mentioned it to my husband. I then start Abx, apprx two weeks of doxy and then picc line with iv rocephin for a month. I had a hell of a time getting tested and I saw a supposed LLMD that was not one. During my picc line time I also order and started the Buhner book and herbs but it was all to much. I saw Revive post on this forum about BVT, I watched her progress and she had been on Abx for about 15 months I think and BVT was making a big difference. I finally emailed her and asked her how I go about it.
She then pointed me to a Facebook group. She also posted the story of Ellie Lobel getting swarmed by bees and it saved her life, she was near death.

So I then researched and researched and the process is pretty simple.
You have to be able to tolerate 3,000mg off Vitamin C EVERY SINGLE DAY!
You have to have an UNEXPIRED EPIPEN
You have to have liquid Alchohol-free Benadryl!
You can order yours bees from a bee supplier that has a hive specifically for medicinal purposes, very cheap they are $0.10 each, you can also order reverse action tweezers from them.
You can keep your bees in a mason jar or order a "bee buddy" from ebay(more expensive way). The bee buddy has artificial queen bee scent in a tune in it so you can let you bees out for their cleanse flight(to go potty they don't potty in their home) and they come back.
Being in PA it is important to order your bees from a milder climate for two reasons, folks in the cold winter climates don't want to open their gives in the winter and put them at risk to provide bees and the venom gets stronger when it is cold...freezing weather.
I have my husband that stings me, I have had my 16 year son do it, my 7 year old daughter and her BFF-they girls think it is cool? My husbands cousin had also done stings for me.
Revive has a family member do her stings as well.
There are folks that self sting, there are folks that have a friend to do the stings and there is a list of folks willing to bee sting buddies and there maybe one in your area.
You start slow because just like with any lyme and co treatment we want to control the herx.
You start with a test sting, the stinger goes and and you pull it out, of course with your Benadryl, Epipen and a fully charged phone at hand. You wait for 30 minutes and if all is well you can do an actual sting, stinger goes in and you leave it in for 20 minutes then pull.
The protocol is 3 days a week i.e. I sting Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, the other days are detox days.
One very important rule is no alchohol, BVT and alchohol don't mix.
You work your way up to 10 stings and you stay on stinging on your back for 2-3 months while your body gets used to the venom.
I started my 9th week today, I am at 6 stings per session for a total of 116 total stings thus far. I am on NO other treatment, when I started I did have my picc line in but for only 3 days, started BVT on a Wednesday and last Abx treatment and picc line pulled on Friday.
I believe Revive is no longer on any Abx. She started a monthish before me.
There is a Facebook group called Pioneers: Healing Lyme with Bee Venom Therapy you can find all this and more info there.
There is an Apitherapist who runs that page, she has 22 years experience and treated over 22,000 patients, when she treated patients it was by donation only, she healed her Lyme twice with BVT, one of those times al of her cranial nerves were involved, she could not eat, speak or eat.
She also has recently written a book named after the Facebook page and she is writing a companion workbook.
This is a bunch of info and hopefully I have answered all your questions and I have not proof read!
Blessings,
