has anyone experience white looking lesions randomly on their body since diagnosed with Lyme. I have about 12 so far between my back, stomach and chest. I am not also noticing ramdom red dots like the size of a tiny freckle. Just wondering if this part is common.

I havent had white lesions, but I have had red dots appear on my toes.
It was strange - one red dot on each toe on my left foot only.

Lyme disease can cause some peculiar signs and symptoms.

Since you are new here, you might be interested in reading through the "New to Lyme?...Start Here!" thread at the top of the page. It's full of good information - symptom lists, info on probiotics, detoxing suggestions and more.

Yes, I have the same red dots on my knees and backs of my hands/wrists. They come and go randomly but have decreased in number/frequency since I started bart treatment (herbal).

I don't have the white lesions but I have the red dots (I believe they are called petechiae) on my inner arms, thighs and abdomen.

I also don't have white lesions. I do have red dots that are flat. I have them in a rash formation about two inches below the tick bite. I also have raised, bite red dots. Most of them are on my abdomen. From what I read, one is Bartonella and one is Babesia. I have both infections along with Lyme.

Wonder what the white lesions are?

Red dots (petechiae) are from babesia.

the white lesions started showing up on my lower left side of my spine when the pain started in my back. now the pain moves aroung my whole back, up my shouder blades and aroud the left side and into my stomach area under my left brest. The pain is so bad at times. We were thinking shingles at one point but no other rash formed. Now I notice the red dots randomly popping up here and there. So all the information you have given me has helped. Currently I tested postive for the Elisa test in ontario but negative for the western blot. A spinal tap was done and nothing showed up. I also had an echocardiogram done and that was fine but I have at at least 90 percent of the symptoms. It all started last October with a severe headache that would not go away. So anyway I have just sent in blood work to Igenex and hopefully with get the results soon and then I will be on the look out for more support to get proper treatment.

I have also read that the read dots can be lyme, and also bartonella...

The red dots are most likely called cherry angiomas and are a result of hyperinsulinemia. I would suspect a deficiency of Manganese, Molybdenum, and possibly Copper. I would also suspect a CBS mutation.

From your description, the white lesions sound like a mild outbreak of shingles. They are occurring laterally along the nerve coming from the spinal column.

Sorry for the reason you're here but glad you found us.

Even the CDC says that Lyme is a clinical diagnosis - based upon symptoms.

Since it can take awhile to get in to see a LLMD, why not work towards scheduling an appointment with one?

Truly, no matter what your Igenex results, I think you should see a LLMD based upon what you've shared about your symptoms.

Lyme has the ability to suppress the immune system and its coinfections can really dampen the immune response. This can make a person more vulnerable to other infections/viruses and could very well be the cause of your possible shingles.

Most importantly, the immune suppression also means that a person can have raging Lyme and/or its coinfections and still test negative even with the Igenex tests.

If you'd like help finding a LLMD, I suggest you start another thread titled "Looking for LLMD in (insert larger city near you)" and be sure to enable your email option via your profile.

This way, members can email you directly since forum rules prevent posting of doctor's names on the forum for privacy reasons.

Yes! The red dots were the first of my symptoms, I also have white patches that will show up here and the that go away... I think its something to do with the immune system and inflammation...

Thank you so much for your help. I just started a new thread looking for the closest LLMD. Tonight I am also attending a Lyme Support group in Guelph. I am trying to learn as much as I can about this but I am also having a hard time holding all the information with my foggy head. Thanks again!!

By white lesions do you mean
like a loss of pigment?
Because I've had that on my arms,
however it's pretty much gone now,
there's a few, but not like before.
