So just a quick backstory as I don't post too often. Sick for a total of 9-10 months now diagnosed in late May of this year and begain treatment around that time with Antibiotics for Lyme and BART, along with flucanozole, and added a-bart about 2 months ago now. So I have improved GREATLY from where I was when I was at my worst. From the start however problems with my vision and sight have been one of the major problems, as I hear bart can cause. My main symptoms are visual snow (mostly notice this when I am in my home, or indoors, outside its not as noticeable) and also something that looks like tiny dots moving in my field of vision especially if I look at the computer screen or sky. Now I know this can be blue field entomptic phenomenon (seeing white blood cells move within the visual field) I do have that as well, but i also have strange floaters that 100 percent move on their own like they are alive and are a similar size to the white blood cell phenomenom that I can see. I have regular floaters as well but these don't bother me as much. It seems almost like I can see the bacteria darting around in my eyes (I know this has been debated and some think its impossible and others don't). All I know is that I never had this visual problem before I got sick with lyme, and it seems to get worse somedays and be a little less noticeable others but its always there. Ill list off some things ive done below that have really helped with vision so far:
-bought an infared sauna in my house, I use this 4-5 times a week (I notice an increase in visual snow after getting out and an increase in this floater phenomenon)
-turmeric, started taking this about 2 months ago along with doing the saunas routinely and has IMO helped improve visual symptoms
-Stayed on my diet 99 percent of the time, continued taking the meds and herbs, and supplements to support
-detox using sauna, lemon water, and Epsom salt baths on a strict regimine
So maybe its really just a matter of time? I would like to hear more from people who have improved their eye symptoms. I am hoping I can get my eyes back to normal the way they were. I am very grateful to be doing so much better and I am even back at work. Over the last month I have driven on average 5-600 miles a week (I am in territory sales) and have gone to the gym at night 5 days a week. Just in May I could barely leave my home I was so ill with migraines, lethargy, aches, visual problems, stomach problems, anxiety, depression, ect ect. you name it I probably had it at one point and now almost everything is gone except this visual stuff (although improved somewhat).
to sum up-
Anyone had visual snow/strange floaters and did it go away or improve when you got the lyme/bart under control?
Anything else particular that I could be doing to directly improve the eyes?
Thanks!
