When pulsing abx, do you have to pulse your entire regiment or can you just pulse certain drugs?

Sorry for the wordy title, was just wondering what is more typical of the two. For clarification, I'm taking doxy as well as pulsing zithro/tindamax.

Currently I'm taking Doxy everyday, while pulsing zithro 5 days a week and tindamax 4 days a week. I pulse the zithro/tinda during the same interval and just go one extra day with the zithro.

Does this sound correct? I know pulsing is very effective so I just want to be sure I'm doing it right.

Reba it varies - i've seen it done both ways. I think it's fine to be on doxy and just pulse the zith and Tini.

When I was on Ceftin, my Dr. had me pulse the Tinidazole only.

Pulsing is 'newer' in the approach to treating lyme.

I see what you're saying...if you go off all of them, it gives the bugs a chance to come out of hiding, so to speak.

I've done both. Right now I'm pulsing Cefdinir and Tinidazole but taking other stuff daily. Depends on your doctors approach.
