Hey there, how were you detoxing? I have realized that when my glands get swollen, I need to cut back on antimicrobials otherwise I feel like total poo. I try to keep my liver as healthy as possible, and at this point it is! But my lymphatic system is a bit sluggish if I don't exercise. Detoxing, for me, (and in accordance to any physiology 101 textbook) is primarily about turning toxic substances into non-toxic by products and eliminating them. We need a good liver for this and to an extent, kidneys, but it also requires some assistance on your lymph system as well as cardiology. You want things constantly moving and even though a "detox bath" eliminates through your skin, exercise does that and more (produces more mitochondria- something that is royally messed in many Lyme patients).
It could be a herx, an autoimmune flare, or something else. Time will tell. I am prudent with antibiotics in particular though I understand there usefullness at times. Ozone therapy has worked well for me - I stopped taking all my anti-microbials and switched entirely to this with no ill effects (the opposite, great results).
