Pediatric LLMD in NC or Ohio

I have spent all day trying to find someone to order Igenex testing for children. Not much luck. So now I need a LL pediatric doctor. Please email me if you know of any good ones in NC or Ohio. We currently live in NC but are from Ohio and go back there frequently. Thanks!

Thank you so much Buttercup! I think this doctor will work out great. We also have heavy metals (due to well water) so he couldn't be more perfect!

Just wondering if anyone would be willing to share their/your experience with ABAB, AL and or ABART challenge(s)? I am a bit hesitant to take due to the possible Herx.

Hi meanmom, welcome to our community!

Since you are new here, you might want to take a look at the thread at the top of the page titled: "New to Lyme?..Start Here!" - It's full of good information - including a section on detoxing. You will want to employ several detoxing methods while treating. This will help alleviate the severity of herxing - which happens with the die-off of bacteria.

So, ideally, you would start detoxing right away...drink at least 8 full glasses of water...squeeze lemon juice into some of them.
Also: warm epsom salt baths.
: dry brush before the baths.
: take a liver support such as milk thistle seed extract (unless you have a ragweed allergy)
: Take a healthy dose of good quality probiotics
: Take a binder - eg: Activated charcoal...or Chlorella
: Keep bowels moving minimum once daily.

Don't start all of them in one day....

Thank you. Lots of great information. Seeing ND. Taking a lot of supplements, some that you mentioned. The only thing I don't have is binder. You are saying that because I'm taking the 25 drop challenge, as per LLMD, one at a time, a few days in between, that it would be beneficial to help the process along by bathing, etc, etc. . . .

He is to far from where I live. My girlfriend is within an hour. She was told by many other doctors her son was ADD. He proved otherwise. Years later her son is doing much better.
