Picc line experiences please

It may take a while for some to answer you on this, Joeyphoenix, because of the holiday.

Joey, all I know about picc lines is the one that was inserted into my daughter for chemo to treat her breast cancer. She had awesome veins and they held up for 3 years of infusions but in the end she had a picc line. It took a real pro to insert it and then it was just a part of her. It had to be flushed regularly but it was such a blessing for them not to stick her every time. Sorry, that is all I know about a picc line and I know it has nothing to do with lyme. Maybe someone else with lyme antibiotics will come along. At least this will bump your post up to the top.

Joey, my daughter went to heaven 6 years ago at the age of 38. At age 35 she was diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer that we still have no idea where it came from. There is no cancer in both sides and she tested negative for the gene. She was such a love. She said that someone in the family had to get it and so it was her. Like she took one for the family. I was blessed and honored to be her mother as long as I was. I don't take anyone for granted, that's for sure. But knowing her, she is decorating Heaven and making sure it is all spiffy.
