Okay I do have to also post this pretty negative review of this Medium guy as well from Amazon. We need to be careful as one quote from this review I have found to be true:
"As a result, I know that sadly, on both the conventional and alternative sides of the equation, many people out there are just trying to make money, a lot of money, on people who are desperate to feel better."
And if this guy's charging $500/half hour and $1000/hour something fishy may be afoot.
Here's the review:

I believe in alternatives as well as faith healing, but I have a lot of doubts about the true source of this book being God's number two man, named Compassion.
Facing multiple serious health issues, I was wildly excited to get a copy of Medical Medium. I knew the publisher and author had been promoting it very heavily. Then I read it. Almost everything in the book is said to stem from a variation of the Epstein-Barr Virus (the one that causes mononucleosis). It supposedly hides away for years, and attacks in ways unknown to medical science. Most are mystery illnesses, a lot that are difficult to diagnose and often mis-diagnosed. If you suffer from chronic fatigue, or fibromyalgia, etc, you are so sick of not being taken seriously by your Dr. And friends, that you are grateful as heck to have someone tell you your disease is real, and gives you hope that you can get better.
That is what is good about this book, the dietary recommendations will certainly improve most people's health, and it gives you hope!
It is nice to hear that Spirit says to eat more fruit, and the section on Angles was interesting. The section on what not to eat is good as well.
But the dietary guidelines are pretty general, as are supplement advice. A lot of people are left asking can I eat this or that? There are no menu plans or recipes to help people get started. No information on the best ways to juice, etc.
Here is why I am skeptical:
1. Serious illnesses that usually carry a death sentence are not addressed at all, like cancer. Does God not want us to know the 'true' causes of cancer and heal from it? Or heart disease?
2. Anthony's consultations cost $500 for a half hour, not to worry, major credit cards accepted. I.e., $1000 per HOUR. He doesn't have time to get to everyone, so applicants are selected by 'lottery'. You can fill out what your problem is on the request form, so it is possible he already has knowledge of it. The huge amount of money charged to people who are already desperate, who have already likely gone deep into debt with medical expenses and lack of work, makes me doubt that he is charging the rated God approved of.
3. The online book push from Hay house was huge. You were given little chapter summaries and access to his Facebook page as gifts for pre-ordering the book. The day the book arrived in stores, you were given an offer of even better gifts, supposedly worth about $1500, if you buy another copy for a friend if you had already bought the book. I even did that for a friend with MS, before my Amazon copy arrived. The free gifts, an audio summary of the chapters, and the top 12 radio shows, which seem to track pretty exactly the content of the book. So no wonder the book is instantly on the best sellers list.
4. Every cure is related to diet, mostly a vegan diet, with some supplements. Quantities of supplements are not given, we are told to seek the advice of a naturopath. Problem is, the conventional and alternative doctors don't know that any of this really helps, since God only made it known to Anthony it seems. The diets are likely very helpful though, since anyone with very poor health has discovered, the most healing diets in the world recommend very similar ones. You must stay on the diet sometimes for two years, I wonder how many millions more books will be sold before you decide it it worked? If it didn't work, is it because you have not eaten enough wild blueberries, or slipped back in November and had a cookie? My point is, diets of any kind are always difficult to follow, and the patient is always blamed when they do not!
5. Who can question the Spirit, number two to God, who talks only to Anthony and nobody else on earth? For the Spirits information is 20-40 years ahead of medical science. By the time it is proven or disproven, Anthony and Spirit will be worth more than Bill Gates, and laughing their butts off on some nice beach. If Spirit, who is named "Compassion", HAD compassion wouldn't he teach as least one person in every city how to heal, as Jesus did, immediately? And then tell people to clean up their diet? After all, Jesus taught his disciples to heal everyone who asked, and he told them to do it FREELY as their gifts were given freely. He also said that everything He did, we could do and MORE. Now I know everyone must make a living, pay for a home, a car, a staff to handle the emails, credit card charges, etc. and I don't object to that, I object to this all being very general, slow-working dietary recommendations that are available if you are a student of alternative diets, as I have been for the last several years. It makes sense of course that God should charge more per hour than anyone on earth that I know of. I am so happy God takes Visa! And yes, I think Anthony should charge for his time! The amount he charges just seems excessive.
6. Having battled poor health for most of my life and been given the 'death sentence' of metastasized cancer, I have spent a huge amount of time and money exploring most options out there. As a result, I know that sadly, on both the conventional and alternative sides of the equation, many people out there are just trying to make money, a lot of money, on people who are desperate to feel better.
7. Hearing what Anthony said on his radio show one to a caller, that wheat was not a problem, that people are not really allergic to it, because many people eat it with no problem, left me to wonder why God is so ignorant of the huge number of hybrid varieties of wheat that have been created by man. We don't eat ancient, natural wheat anymore, we eat a highly hybrid variety that bears little resemblance to the plant God created. I see though in the section on foods not to eat, that he lists gluten. The part about ADHD and Autism says that metal toxicity is the cause, but says most of this is passed on by the parents. Spirit make no mention about the toxic metals in vaccines apparently.
8. Why are there so many 5 star reviews? Because an email was sent out to everyone on his Facebook page, which he got pretty much everyone who ordered the book to sign up for, it was a free gift after all, implying that if you gave a 5 star review, you might win a grand prize that included 6 autographed copies of the book, some other things, and best of all TWO coveted free consultations. And shame on me, I was even tempted to give it 5 stars just because I would really like to hear what he said! But I suspect I already know....a version of the EBV so eat your wild blueberries and drink your celery juice!
9. Why is it forbidden to record your client sessions you pay so much for? It seems like he does not want you to be able to re-hear it.
Why did I give this 3 stars? Because the book does bring hope, and pretty good dietary recommendations that should improve your health. I would love to believe he is not just making this all up, and I could be wrong! I think only if you have told him nothing about your health, and he really gets all your issues accurately on a diagnostic call, could you truly believe. I am extremely spiritual, and believe very much in alternatives as well as faith healing, but I have a lot of doubts.
