That's pretty interesting, lactoferrin binds manganese. Borrelia uses manganese instead of iron for its internal biological processes.
Lactoferrin is found in milk, but in large amounts only in colostrum.

He Puritan Pride gets ahold of that info and can produce a supplement ...I'd give it ago....might prevent me from poisoning myself with bug spray!

We've had a few people that use/have used colostrum in their healing protocols - but I don't remember any of them having really spectacular results though. I could be not remembering correctly though, so hopefully some of them will post here as well.
As for what to do to keep from using so much bug spray - try Astragalus. I've used it all of 2015 to prevent Lyme - and it's worked. I do still spray when I know that I'll be "deep in bugs", but otherwise I don't any longer. I had three time this year where I believe I would have had Lyme had I not been taking astragalus - where the tick(s) had attached left a hard, red, raised, lump for 2 weeks, and I felt a little extra tired - but no symptoms other than that.

Great to hear. My LLMD has had me on Laktoferrin for many months now along with Xylitol and Collodial Silver for biofilm protocol. The one I use is from Allergy Research Group pricey but good.
