Aramiz had also posted another set of questions at the end of the older thread and I'd like to put them here as well so that the answers given will be on this thread. So I've copied and pasted their post:


"Guys yesterday i thought i was out of Fever and on way to heal at least from flu, today i woke up with heavy head pressure mouth pain neck pain and oppression together with a sensation i cant breath properly, even got 2 white little under tounge that hurt in contact to teeth



, tried to measure body temperature But Its just freaking out, i go from 36,7 to 37,1 in 5 minutes it just keeps going up and down like crazy, has all of these happened to anyone? Seems like My body n immune system are going crazy, antibiotic dont do nothing no more.
Im stopping serrapeptase for some time together with all supplements exept for cowden's stuff, i still had an operation few days ago n i dont wanna mess too much

It sounds like you aren't dealing with a cold, Aramiz.

I think you should put down the thermometer though. It's obviously causing some stress and you certainly don't need more of that. Low grade fevers are fairly common with these infections- especially if you have more than one. The abx you would get from a doctor for a cold (which is wrong anyway, abx don't help viruses at all and those doctors doing this are only creating more abx resistant strains of things) certainly wouldn't be enough to help with these infections as it take specific abx and at specific doses, higher than most are willing to give.

It's most likely the operation you had a few days ago that is causing all the stress on your body. You need to give it time to heal and I would suggest that you not raise your doses of Cowden's herbs for a while until you feel more stable as well. Pushing your body too hard right now will almost certainly cause a set back. It simply needs time to heal from the operation first before trying to move forward with your treatments for Lyme and company.

Well i had acute sinusitis too ( i have chronic since 2 years) anyway today feel better i don have fever anymore, btw today samento and banderol on 25 drops each disnt seem to give me Any reaction

Of course the operation did debilitate me in some way i feel Lot of pain on those veins and in My head too.

I have (since before the operation) that sensation on My heart mostly night But happen also durin day that i miss a beat or its getti getting too Early and sometimes expanse till neck, of course on ecocardiogram was all good But in curious to know if this is common between us, im almost sure Its not by anxiety

Heart issues are definitely something that Lyme and these other infections can cause. Have you taken a look at the "Master symptom list" for Lyme in our "New to Lyme?" thread? It lists many of the heart issues that Lyme can cause. I was very lucky in that I never had serious heart issues, only some palps and possibly some tachycardia.

I believe Lyme is most often the culprit in heart issues, although Bartonella would be second and even Babesia can cause some heart issues. As long as you get your heart thoroughly checked out, and all is good, then the symptoms are most often only going to be relieved by treatment for the infections causing those symptoms.

Thank you traveler for your answers, the point that actually stresses me the most is not Being fully sure of what i have, well My symptoms look like lime for most of you naturally, But i never met face by face someone Who has lyme, i dont have diagnosis My Elisa test came negative even on igm and i have an obstructing doctor, the thing that i dont look sick isnt helping and ppl think im obsessive, i have more than 60 symptoms, the unbearable thing is that i cant even watch television without stressing because in while on My body Many things are happening i can never relax in no 1 moment, always have some tingling or something that is movin om me a big pressure that moves and when the head "feeling" becomes pain theres no medicine that can alleviate. It is a real agony a persecution sometimes wish i would die just to sneak out... And life goes on an it costantly slips from My hands, living in a costant hope tht everything wipes out and wishing not to be aware of My body just like in the morning when u still between Dream and conscousness Able to switch btw each other.. My point is this i need a diagnosis so that i can stop to keep the feet in two different shoes and i can be without doubt what im doing now is just suppose i have lyme with a Lot of " what if insted?". Well probably i have lyme But having pro of of it makes it really true

Can I ask what's stopping you from trying out a natural protocol at this point then? If you responded to it (usually with a herx), it would be the best verification you could get on having these infections!

Careful for what you ask for. I too wanted diagnosis and now that i have one im not sure how to treat. Trav-are your heart symptoms resolved. ? You sure are compassionate.
Aramiz -i feel the same way. I said If i new what i was fighting i knew i could fight. Now i know im not sure i have the fight. So we are left with two options and one if you have loved ones or hope of love. I say if i could stop the damage now i could live with this. I dont know if abx will cause more damage ? I have als like muscle wasting ,nuero stuff ,crazy emotions ,and the vertigo but the hand and foot pain vasculitis is visable, its a reminder everyday as is the twitching that action must be taken...it is a marathon not a sprint said mr mike and i am sohttp://www.voiceamerica.com/episode/85881/healing-membranes-in-chronic-illness-using-unique-treatments tired having 2 yrs of trauma and 6 months of panic to find an answer of we dont know how to cure it if you can ... trav seems confident that she did.

Aww, thank you, Bluelyme! And my heart symptoms have mostly resolved. I still have a few heart palps, but feel they are due to my adrenal issues as they went away for a while.

And yes, I've healed from Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia, RMSF, and others.

Im already using cowdens protocol as i mentioned, i do since 5 days, and i somehow started various detox methods since august, the point is i ve started cowdens after coming back from operation of jugular veins, yea i ve been very sick these days But not sure it was a herx cause i had Fever cold flu acute sinusitis so it got mixed, since yesterday cold has gone with Fever and samento and banderol on 25 drops each didnt seem to give Any reaction. So that im doubtful whether the first days that big sickness was a herx or just a side of flu, since all started 1 years n half i have spent 15000 euros on supplements and medical checks, all useless, all My money i came back with from My trip in Australia that were ment to sustain me for other trip to india tht i never could do, and now in pretty broke, cant work and blocked in a country i cant wait to leave with a family and a doctor tht things im just pretending and not willing to work. Thats mad.

about testing: i had an Elisa negative, now in waiting result for EIA test ( the only one My doc could make me do )

I would undergo the elispot thru infectolab But im taking herbs like samento and i dont know it would interfere.

I have yet to see anyone taking just a couple of herbs from any established protocol and finding full healing.

The herbal protocols are just that - protocols. This means they consists of many herbs taken together.

I followed the full Cowden protocol for almost 6 months. I herxed a lot on it but never broke the plateau I hit on antibiotics.

Due to some herxing on one of Cowden's herbs geared towards Babesia, I began to wonder if a not-too-uncommon, aymptomatic Babesia/Babesia-like infection was impeding my healing.

I decided to switch to Buhner's protocols mostly because Cowden does not have published protocols for the coinfections and it was clear the few herbs he has in his protocol that addresses the coinfections just aren't enough.

Well, the switch started in August and I was only on 8 drops each of the Babesia and Bartonella herbs at the beginning of this month. Earlier attempts at increasing resulted in unacceptable herxing.

I was somehow able to finish titrating up to full doses by the middle of this month and I feel thisclose to full healing (already :).

Please consider a full herbal protocol. If you go with Buhner, you could make all of your own plant medicines. He has full instructions (not difficult) in his "Herbal Antibiotics" book that can be bought in a digital version for a little more than 2 USD on Amazon.

You would benefit from buying all of Buhner's books on these infections (there are 3 altogether). You will glean an understanding of the infection and disease process....and what truly needs to happen to heal.

It's a lot more than killing the bugs. In fact, that's the last thing on the list. We got sick because our immune system couldn't eliminate the infections on its own. We need to rebuild our immune systems...so we can heal...and prevent further infection.

I have take cd3764's advice and purchased all the books. Just from the Buhner co-infections book, I got two great tips that have helped a lot (NAC and shots of pomegranate juice).

In not taking only 2 herbs in doing the full protocol was just easier to mention those 2.
Anyway i have to assume that buhners approach is just better as all of you have had more benefit, i will Buy the books im convinced, anyway the most of the herbs that buhners suggest are impossible to find in italy, eg Japanese knotweed, stephania teasel etc

Also today cowdens protocol didnt make me herx... Dont know anything of pomegranate juice

I tried NAC for month to address heavy metal toxicity i stopped because gave me some weird lung symptom

I bought cordyceps today to sustain immune syst and boost energy what you guys think of fungis

Today i feel better, i think cowdens protocol is helping for sinusitis a bit, the only thing is that im not herxing and im on full dose herbs, anyone has idea of why? Im using biofilm busters too, and in still on amoxicillin, But i repeat, i have less heavy symptoms But no herx

What herbs in the Cowden Protocol are you taking?

Please confirm the dose and the frequency of each.

The answer to your question might become clear to us once you clarify these things.

I take banderol samento on 30 drops twice a day, serrapeptase 40000 iu twice day between meals, cordyceps 1gr divided on 3 dose, 80 mg bromelain, mora nutramedix 30 drops twice day, pinella-burbur at least 10 drops of each twice a day, parsley 10 drops twice a day, ezov 8 drops before sleep, magnesium oil before sleep, grapefruit Seed extr 10 drops twice a day, amoxicillin 875mg twice a day for sinusitis acute, probiotics and Many yogurts, heparin 4ml under skin (follie up operation) once a day. Sometimes i take NAC, MSM,Ala, homeopatic linph, tissutal, cerebro spinal drainages remedy

i started cowden the 17th december right before having flu (didnt know would happen) after operation and first days was really sick also had acute sinusitis with crazy headache, now since 3 days im getting better but herbs dont give me Any herx, They mah be helping with sinusitis though, dont know whatto think doubtful about whether before i was such sick due to herx or only flu ect

CD knows a lot more about Cowden's than I do, since she used it - but I can tell you that not everyone herxes. It all depends on how well your body detoxes and how much you need to do to help it keep up with the toxins being created. The fact that you are seeing improvements says a lot more.

I would agree with each of those things. Highs/lows and ups/downs are quite common with these infections. I was just tossing out ideas for you to consider. :-)

I didnt express well, traveler you are really giving me a big support and higly valuable informations which i will follow for sure.

I had this understanding that to See if a lyme treatment is effective you have to herx so i was doubtful of My reactions, even started question i really had lyme or not.

Because CD has had esperienze with cowdens i wanted to figure what He thinks.

I bought some cilantro dried leaves and had a tea with it, it gave me stiffness and increased muscle twiches, that makes me think that a part for lyme, metal toxicity is something i should keep to address as just before first symptoms showed i had 2 vaccins
