I don't remember how they progressed the first time - I was only 7 yrs old.
But on my reinfection, I got hit with the neuro symptoms first, then the muscular symptoms set in. I was untreated for about
3 months by the time I got over the shock and disbelief and got my herbs ordered and delivered, treated for 5 months and was done.
Yep, I hated that feeling that I was constantly wearing a hat - especially since I hadn't worn a hat in years! LOL! There is no set way that Lyme symptoms 'come on' for a person - they like the weak points in the body first though.
As for tonsil stones, I used to remove my own. Kind of gross, but it was better than leaving them there!! Here is a video of getting a 'softer' one out - mine were usually much harder and remained quite solid until I got them out - just like a small stone. Once out, I could squish them, but the smell horrid! LOL!
