Fasting may or may not be recommended, depending on exactly what all you are dealing with, so be careful with that. You could actually set yourself back.
It was crazy hard to figure out what to do. Eventually, my Lyme brain won out and I started seeing a LLMD. I knew I was too sick to be the decision maker in my treatments. Well, I treated for a year and ended up a lot worse off mostly due to no one understanding the importance of detoxing I believe. So I had to stop treatments and work hard to get my body back to detoxing and partially functioning again. Since I knew I couldn't go back to using abx, I turned to herbs, before they were known to work for these infections. My choice was made for me though, I couldn't travel the 10+ hours each time to see a doctor and the only practitioner that would even see me only used herbs.
It ended up being the best decision since I healed very quickly (2 yrs) considering how long I had the infections (40 yrs) - but I was more than a little nervous about the whole thing!!
Girlie's suggestions is what I would have suggested as well. You can also work on cleaning up your diet if needed, and getting your body to detox well.
