Nystatin powder question

My dr wrote me a prescription for pure nystatin powder. I wanted to try it to see if I feel any better from symptoms that could be yeast or lyme. I am not sure. My pharmacist put the powder in capsules. Each capsule is 1,000,000 u compound. That is what it says on the bottle. It says to take powder out of capsule and put in a half cup of water and drink that over the course of a day.
Does this sound right?

And, if you don't get a response, I suggest you search posts by Pirouette, our resident yeast-fungal expert (she's not posting on here lately but, shares a LOT of info about Nystatin powder and its proper dosing)

My wife takes a leveled spoonful of the powder, mixes with 4oz of water and holds/swishes in her mouth for 15 minutes, and then swallows. She does this three times daily. I believe that is what is listed on the bottle.

The powder is also for yeast in the GI tract, not systemic yeast. You need something like diflucan/fluconazole for systemic.
