I dosed K with probiotics in that manner for the 2 years she was on antibiotics. She took various combinations of biaxin, rifampin, plaquinel, minocycline, azithromycin, tindamax and malarone and never had issues with yeast. Her mid-day probiotic was rotated every day; either Culturelle or Align. Her evening probiotic was also rotated daily; either AOR ProBio-3, PrescriptAssist or RenewLife Ultimate Flora.
We used to dose our most potent one before bed to allow colonization through the night. Sauerkraut before bed (after brushing your teeth) will allow the bacteria to colonize your sinuses while you are lying prone.
