Ok, I do remember another post of yours - saying you got worse with treatment.
When we treat lyme disease...the result is the die-off of bacteria - when that happens, your body is flooded with the toxins...which causes inflammation - and an increase in the severity of symptoms (and even new symptoms)...this is called a herxheimer reaction.
What we can do to help - is detox...Effective detoxing will help our body flush out those toxins...and stay ahead of the die-off...this will lessen the severity of the herxing.
Sometimes LLMD's when starting the patient on a new protocol...will have the patient start at a lower dose for a few weeks...before going to full dose.
I suggest you detox as much as possible...every few days add in another method.
Here's a link to some detox ideas:
www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.htmlSome of the detoxing I do:
- drink lots of water - at least 8 glasses a day
- squeeze fresh lemon juice in some of the glasses
- take warm epsom salt baths
- dry brush my skin prior to the baths
- Take Alka Seltzer Gold
- Take Nutramedix Pinella and Burbu
- Take a liver cleanse
- Take activated charcoal
Also - probiotics are a must...
So you've been seeing an ID Dr.? You really should see a LLMD, someone who understands lyme disease and how to treat it.
