Without popping pills.........
15 years ago I popped many ibuprofen daily for this, killed my gut flora, and got an ulcer. Thats about
the time I figured conventional medicine was clueless for many issues. Sometimes I still need to do this, but not on a daily basis, and way less when I do.
Tension neck/head/shoulder aches can wreck your day!!!
Your head has this muscle connected to the neck......which is connected to your upper back/shoulders and chest. In addition, the fascia over the muscles is a harnessing net holding it all together. So its best to release all of it, ....and your neck/head will feel better. Just releasing one area can move the tension and creating a "fault line" of tension that is even greater.
I start with a green foot "Rubz" ball under the shoulder blades with my back on the floor, then work my way up to the neck. The cartilage on either side of the sternum also holds a lot of tension to the ribs and front neck, which can be relieved by finger tips.
What many never do - your skull muscles!! This is very thin, so proceed lightly. I "roll" a medium spiked rubber ball on my scalp (all over my head). Its actually for using in your cloths dryer- speeds drying up. Its tingley and releases tension, getting blood flow going again. I also have a short body roller with three rubber spiked balls on it from Target store (like a bread dough roller). Used lightly on skull and upper neck muscles makes a difference.
I just fended off a possible neck/head ache from he// that would have wrecked my saturday - all day!. minutes spent, one hr later and I fell good again.
