Is there a reference range on the IFA? I don't know how to read those.

23-25 and 39 are Lyme specific bands. 41 is not Lyme specific but it is very common in Lyme and is spirochete specific.

The numbers are actually the molecular weights in kilo-Daltons (kDa). I've highlighted the antibodies in red which (many people agree) are very specific for Lyme disease.

Thank you! She did begin treatment 2 weeks ago. I started with an IV detox, and then came home with gluthione (?), and A-L Complex, and Artmensin. I don't feel well after I take the Artmensin, almost flu like. So I'm finding it hard to take.

Artemisinin is used to treat Babesia co-infection.

ksnin when I first got here and put my test results out there I too wanted an in-your-face FACT - Did I have it? I so know where you are coming from.

It can be very overwhelming, to say the least. I also felt this huge need to hurry and get rid of this stuff! It took months of reading when I had such a hard time comprehending or paying attention. I was a blubbering mess of illness and just wanting to get well!

Patience is how this disease is healed. It won't come quickly and being anxious actually makes it worse. I had to learn calm. Baby steps. Be Number One in whom I am taking care of. And learn to say NO to all those pressures I put on myself, like parties, helping others, taking on projects for the good of the town, etc. Oh, and I had to let all kinds of things go - I am not the most perfect house keeper any more. I actually am learning how not to be a perfectionist - which I am probably trying to do perfectly.

I think I have learned so much more about me in these last 10 months.

And this place has been a God send. More information here and people that explained it on my non-medical level. Thank goodness!!

Until you start healing it will be hard. I think the hardest thing for me was TRYING not to complain EVERY day. I didn't want to wear my husband out with my whining.

I love to type, so I would type these huge long complaining letters. And I cried a lot in the shower where my sobs were muffled.

I had a super physical job and am retired. I have injured most every part of my body. Pain and aches are nothing new to me, but these were so very strange symptoms.

Come here, ask questions and remember you are not alone. We all understand. I am so glad you have someone. When I hear of those that are living alone, I am so sad. Sometimes you just need a hug and I wish that for them.

Thanks again for all the advice. I know about trying not to complain everyday. My husband is so loving and supportive, so he asks me several times a day how I'm feeling. I honestly don't always tell him how I'm feeling exactly, because I don't want to be a chronic complainer.
