OK this one is a little woo woo, but I went anyway.
It's a machine that they hook you up to, it flashes lights and the practioner reads the screen. I had straps on my wrists and ankles and I sat in a chair while the practioner (Frank) and the machine did their magic. I was a bit bored and I like to name things, so I named the machine Ed. No idea why...
Anyway, Ed sends energy to my body and my body responds with either resistance or allows it to flow. Ed interprets the energy and gives a reading to the practitioner. He can then take those readings and send them back to me in a way to re-balance my body. This whole process took about 2 hours and at the end they let me have 10 minutes on the infrared amethyst pad (heaven).
I went in with a totally open mind and was pretty blown away.
First thing it came back with was weak adrenals, then it targeted my skin neuropathy. The practiioner showed me the image because he had never seen anyone return this. It was like a hologram of my whole body in red, every single meridian. He said normally he sees a few red sections, but this was a first to see the whole body defined.
As we worked through it the machine picked up on bacteria and parasites, he sent some rebalancing to help kill them.
It picked up on various muscle and joint pains, memory issues, digestion and a huge red flag on my liver (no surprises there)
He's going to be sending me a written report because I have honestly forgotten half of what he said. I found that during the process I became very relaxed. I also noticed that the neuropathy stinging got really bad for a while when he was working on me.
As soon as I got home I herxed, had a headache in my left eye. Also a big ingrown zit appeared right over the part of my sinuses that are always a problem. It was like things were going to leave right out of my pores (yay!). This morning in the shower, my sinuses released all kinds of stuff that I was happy to say goodbye to.
The skin brushing this morning was actually much more irritating then usual and I had a few hours of herx symptoms this morning. Last night I took some burbur and slept like a baby. I forgot to take more burbur this morning. Luckily it's a fairly mild herx. Frank the practitioner also suggested that I take one day a week with no herbs to give my body a chance to re-balance.
I think I'll do it again, but now I wonder did the infrared pad or the Biofeedback create the herx? Next time I'll skip the pad (since I'll have my own sauna by then anyway) and I'll see if I still herx. Because of how I felt, I suspect the machine did do something and created the mild herx reaction.
