Anyone have experience with Low Dose Immunotherapy (LDI)?

I have had 3 doses so far of the LDA for Lyme. The first time, I had a little flare and then felt amazing. The second one I had a massive flare and then went back to feeling my normal symptoms. The third one, I didn't really notice much. They do help the chronic achiness, but that is basically all I noticed. I will continue with them, because I think there is some improvement; hopefully, it will be more as time goes on.

I didn't have a clear lyme diagnosis, but the doctor said that if the shot caused any flare than I had to have lyme or one of the confections.

Yes, I did LDI after only doing 6 wks of antibiotics. I noticed an immediate improvement in my internal buzzing/vibrations. It went away totally and lasted for about 2 wks. That was my only improvement. I did a booster dose and had minimal improvement. At that point I switched to directly seeing Dr. V. He thought my main symptoms were bart so we tried to find core dose there and I noticed no improvements but had a new symptom pop up - a shaking in my jaw. I am not sure if this would have came up with or without the LDI, but it did scare me. My next dose was Borellia only mix and I again noticed improvements in the buzzing/vibrations and my energy was good. I did a booster dose with Borellia only and felt only small improvements. At that time, I then decided to go back to antibiotics/herbs since I had only treated for 6 wks previously. I came to the personal decision that one should get the bacterial load as low as possible before trying LDI.

I would recommend having your doctor separate infections if you want to try it. It is much more telling and I personally like to know what infection is seeing the improvements. For example, my internal buzzing must be linked to Borellia since that symptom went away when doing the Borellia LDI. I wish I would have kept titrating the Bartonella doses down to see if I got any symptom relief with it. But the jaw shaking scared me and has finally started to get a bit better 3 months later.
