I have not heard much about this myself. Though, I've added it to my list of things to look into, when I am able. But, for now, I just want to say that, if this is the case, why? Magnesium's supposedly one of the most important minerals in the body, responsible for a number of functions. I realize that a lot of our bodies are out of sync, so saying this might not apply here, but if it were the case that magnesium causes such an interference with the absorption of other vitamins, minerals, and whatnot, why don't large numbers of people suffer from deficiencies of sorts (or maybe they do)?
Also, it seems backwards that the body would do that to itself. I need this, I need these other things too, but getting one means I won't be able to use the others as well.
Plus, there is the reality that there are just so many things to take, so many efforts to make on any given day, and not just as far as health is involved.
That's not to say that I don't try to make sure I am taking my things when/how to best maximize absorption, because otherwise it's wasted time and money. But.. let's say I have multiple products that are best taken with meals multiple times daily, yet one is claimed to interfere with another, what the heck am I supposed to do about that? It can't be a matter of choose one over the other, because maybe I need both.. you know?
And.. again, the time.. two hours before, two hours after, empty stomach (doesn't it take like 4 hours for the stomach to empty completely, and that is saying IF your digestion is normal). As much as I'd like to be able to just focus on getting better all day, at least in terms of the Lyme/co and what else, I can't.
I don't know. Again, I haven't looked into this, and I am also not a smart man, so take what I've said very lightly.
