Here is my personal opinion and in no way do I believe that I know more than anyone else. You cannot talk anyone into believing anything. If you argue with an idiot, who is the idiot?
My Momma would say, be polite and kind and ask if they would like the information that you have based your knowledge on. If they ask to see your information, then freely give it to them (I will provide this down a ways). But why argue? This will cause you so much stress. I have a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law that think I am lying about
lyme. I can tell by the way they never ask me about
it and they never ask how I am doing. He is a biologist and she is a nurse for head trauma injury patients. I can see it in their eyes their lack of compassion and understanding. They are polite and now it is the white elephant in the room when we are together. I do not discuss my health with them at all. I wish they understood, but I am too close to be their educator. Someone, some day will come along but I can't take this on. It is too much for me. So I pray for them.
Now here is what Traveler wanted to post but her computer was acting up:
I'm so sorry!! Sometimes there's nothing you can do about
it, but take a look at these articles to see if you can find something useful in them. You might also remind that chronic infections are not uncommon at all.
