Is this sign of bartonella? (3 pictures on my arm)

Hi,
Sometimes when I scratch my skin (especially after shower), I got those red scratch marks come out, it is little itchy, then it become to scar in a couple of days. But if you don't scratch the skin, then it won't come out. I had it on my leg and chest as well, is this sign of Bartnoella? I had co-infection test done in iGenex, it was negative.

This is interesting - because I was just putting my hair up before my epsom salt bath...and in the mirror I saw a few red long rashes on my neck below my ear.
I hadn't even scratched them...but they're not really bright...and there's also a red dot just above them. They do look similar to yours.

I have bartonella...and am currently treating it...and I had a bad day yesterday...was shopping in the mall, and had to sit down...felt light headed and kind of pressure in my head and upper torso. We had only been walking for about 15 minutes...and this has not happened at all since I've had lyme and co's.
At the time I thought it was a herx....and now these red marks...

And I just read your comment again Leilex - about you getting them after your herx. That would be the same in my case - if yesterday was indeed a herx.

I haven't tested for Bartonella but I think I also have it.
I have worse marks when I scratch, it is really red and looks terrible, I thought that it is my sensitive skin, I didn't know it can be because of Bart.

If you have any classic Bart symptoms then any skin type anomalies should be strongly considered to be from Bart as well. Take my case I have the swollen lymph nodes and my chest hurts and my heart races at various points throughout the day and had heel pain for a short period. I got this red splotch on my face covers my entire nose and under my eyes and down each side. Looks like its also going to my forehead. It's not Rosacea. My doctor thinks its Bartonella since Bart causes many types of skin abnormalities not just the red streaks.

Sorry to tell you, but if you have those symptoms AND the skin rashes, I truly think you have Bart too. I read somewhere that 78% of Lyme patients have Bart. It is a terrible infection, but treatable.

So far, I've treated with Doxy, Rifampin, Biaxin, and Septra DS. They've helped a lot. Right now, I'm taking a break from ABX and starting Buhner's Bart protocol. I can tell it works. It seems to have a calming affect.

I also started monolaurin two days ago and had a stronger herx than when I was on ABX. So, I decided to keep with it, but on a lower dose. I really thought I was coming down with the flu. 100 degree temp and had to just lay down the whole day. I started detoxing and it faded last night so I know it was the monolaurin.

Girlie, I know for sure that it's part of my herx bc after the monlaurini fiasco, I was left with a huge red mark on my collarbone with about 10 dots. I found that this morning. I'm cool with it if that means they are dying... I think your mall experience might have been a herx too. Take an alka seltzer gold in your purse when you go out. Just in case.

Those pics look a lot my rashes as well since I also have those tiny itchy bumps that when I scratch them a rash will appear. The bumps usually go away quickly but I have a few now on my wrist that don't seem to want to disappear.

I do think I have Bart because I've also seen the famous scratch marks on my back appear out of nowhere. I get so many rashes it's incredible especially in the winter which is when I just worse in general.
