PULSING FLAGL ANYONE?

Hello.

Can anyone tell me what you all do with flagl?.Do you pulse it a few days every week or every day in the week for whole month for how many months?? If so what dozage per day?Do you take doxycilan as well If yes what dozage per day and for how long thanks take care

Hello Elaine and welcome to this forum. We aren't doctors but we sure want to help. I feel so sad to read what you are going through. The illness is terrible with so much to read about and consider. I have a very close adult family member with Lyme and have been with her to the LLMD doctor. This is what I learned from the visits so I will share with you. Eat very nourishing food-- your body needs it to fight the infection. Forget junk food. Next she was given a printed list of things to do for detox. The doctor said do only one thing at a time so you can see if any problems arise. We discussed the herbs and protocols-- do one at a time only--not mix up-- so you can determine if helpful or problem. The medication you asked about is from a doctor and they should tell you how and when to take them, and how much to take. I wouldn't experiment and guess. Can you call the office and ask for help. I've done it here and the nurse clarified things.

We keep a written diary of what and when and how you feel for several days after each new thing. It helps to go back over and review. When you ask about dosage, and pulsing, and how long to take them and if you take together-- if with food or not---if with herbs or not-- then these seem to me to be doctor questions. I'm concerned about mixing up too many things. I'm sorry for what you are going through and keep asking questions and the members will do their best to suggest. Things do get better but oh so slowly. There are successful members here on our forum. Wish you well.

Thanks for your kind responce.and your sound advice.Yes a uk dr gave me flagl.However from what im reading online.It is not enough The amount is 3x daily for 3 days in 1 week only week Then nothing for 2 weeks, Then 4 days at 3x dailyThis is only 7 days treatment in a whole month.I did it for 1st month.Then i decided to build up a suppply So i can take it very day ven for month.So i havent used the last 2 months supply. She doesnt beleive in using 3 abx like llms in the Us she has said this to meAs she said she gets people into remission with Rife and flagl. She is a lovely dr .and i am gratefull she doesnt speak of setox at all ,in cant get acces to rife.As for herbals id be doing it on my own.There no llmd in scotland.and no buhner herbalist ot any that follow buhner plan either in scotland.So i have to self treat.Good idea over the diary. Im having funny turns Cant decribe the sensation in my head I took a break from cowdens for 4 days As did not like these turns.Unsure how to desribe it.. I bought a product from sage women it has 3 herbs in same bottle for babasia And Few others.Cant use anything until have 2 months suplly As to avoid break when itb takew few weeks to arrive in the uk. i haven't been on Flagyl for treating lyme/co's.

Hi Elaine-

There are a couple ways to pulse dose: long durations of intense dosage, with long breaks in between or lower dosages designed to trick the Lyme into thinking it's ok to come out of its cyst form. I'd recommend this second path as it's really helping me with a similiar drug called Tinidazole.

The trick with both drugs is to pulse dose 2 to 6 times as long as the effective half life of the drug stays within your body. Since the half life of Flagyl is close to Tinidazole (8-12 hours), I'd pulse dose 1 day on, one day off. If the Herx is bad you may cut the dosage in half or pulse dose 1 day on, 2 days off, roughly depending on your weight.

Continue this for at least 30-45 days as it can take this long for the drug to disrupt one full lifecycle of the Lyme. You should get your first severe Herx within a week or two as it can take this long to erode the cysts. Both Tinidazole and Flagyl are more effective when taken with an intracellular busting ABX or herb, like doxy, but I'd actually recommend minocycline over doxy as it has better blood brain penetration and is arguably better for neuro Lyme.

Just for your info, I pulsed Flagyl 3 days on (400mgs 3 x a day) and then 6 days off. I needed 6 days off to recover, LOL!! I always herxed (not always as badly) by the end of day 2/beginning of day 3.

I took these with the Buhner protocol (Cat's Claw, knotweed, Ashwaganda and Eluthero).

i do have a supply of doxy could add these in. cant get any other abx unless buy from online pharmacy in india or anywhere xx

Ok so i just listened to dr h on lyme summit he says ...you need a spirochettal ,a intercellar and a cyst abx.....1st being doxycycline, minocycline, or tetracycline ,ceftin or amoxicillan ,bicillin,
next ,azithromycin,clarithomycin ,rifampin, then persister cells with flagyl, tinidazole, or alinia, plaqunil ...detox is important...doxy and flagle,are good pair..mino/tini... ,will craft that email soon...so do you have access to rife ?

hi bluelyme thanks for your kindnessand the info on abx .i do not have access to rife,or a llmd to get those antibiocs you suggest.Only way is buy them online from some where in the world That sells and ships to the uk.What do you mean eill craft the email soon?The uk dr i have contact with only uses Flagl her rife machines in england I dont have acess to it im in scotland.She posts the meds to me I think she was going to add i a drug used for lupis and asrthitus It treats malaria cant remember its name. thanks again iv writen the abxs down so have note of them take care love elaine x
