Welcome Love32!
Sorry for the reason you're here but glad you found us.
Girlie gave you some great information and I'm glad you'll be seeing a LLMD.
The healing road can be a long one but there is an end. You can expedite your journey by cleaning up any areas of your diet that need cleaning up (ditching processed foods, sugar, gluten and some say dairy).
And, most importantly, you can start clearing your body of the toxins that have accumulated throughout your life. Think plastics, pesticides, cleaning products, car exhaust, etc.
Clearing toxins now will help you with your symptoms.....which are caused by the toxins generated by the Lyme bugs:
www.benbrew.com/lb/lyme5.pdfAnd, once you start treatment, you'll be generating more toxins ala the dead bug parts. It just makes sense to get a daily detoxing protocol going now....and continue to (slowly) add to it throughout treatment.
Here's a link that explains why we need to detox and shares a comprehensive list of detoxing methods:
www.tiredoflyme.com/detox-methods.htmlAnd, here's a link to a recent thread wherein members shared what they're doing for detoxing:
www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=3602759Please keep posting and asking questions.. Dealing with these infections was often a crash course for me and 20/20 hindsight came into play all too often regardless. Those who have been down the road before you are willing to lend a hand....grab it - you'll be happy you did :)
Best of luck to you moving forward!!
