My eyes look terrible. They are hollow and with big dark circles around them. I put a lot of concealer but it cannot help. Dark colour fades to some extent, but hollowness remains. I don't know what to do. I suppose it is also one of the Lyme consequences. Why? Would this go away once Lyme is resolved?

Could be but almost anything could be caused by lyme
TCM would relate eyes to kidney and front-middle dental

When I first got lyme I looked like a stoner. Bloodshot eyes, watery eyes, sunken and dark circles.

On top of not looking good, I had blurry vision, floaters and always sand in my eyes. I would try and not wear makeup thinking it would be better for my eyes and then I really looked like a zombie.

I got to where I had a "heck with it" attitude. I picked comfort over looks.

My eyes have that hollow look to them. When I look back at photos from summer of 2014 and now...i see that it has improved. I did look sick back then.


I think it's possible loss of collagen.

do you get enough sleep regularly? do you take vitamins that are good for the skin? so sorry. I didn't have hollow eyes like you, but i was very pale and surely looked sick back when I was battling lyme....

I also think hollow eyes could be caused by loss of collagen.

Do you use gelatin or collagen hydrolysate?

Someone on here once referred to that as 'vampire eyes' and it seemed accurate. I'm feeling better lately and my eyes don't have that look right now so that's something.

Also noticed the whites of my eyes are bright white since starting the colon hydrotherapy. That seems to be really doing something good for me overall.

But I spoke with a man last week that has been flying out to DC for treatment with Dr. J and I felt so awful for him. His color was terrible and his eyes had that look. So sick.

I edited your post only to replace the full doctor name with his initial. I know Dr. J has some notoriety but I am very much aware of the persecution he faced in his former location.

That said, I'm inclined to protect his identity in the event those inclined towards LLMD persecution might not read of him being mentioned on a Lyme forum.

I really hate my look. The only good thing is that it can be covered by makeup to some extent. I hate looking sick. I put concealer and fondation and again concealer, dark colour is gone and the holowness is reduced (it is present, but not so much).
I sleep around 7-8 hours, but I can't fall asleep easily. I take multivitamin which should cover daily vitamin needs. Should I take something else as well?
I took gelatin, but unfortunately I didn't have improvement for the eyes. Maybe a little for the joints.
Should I try collagen insted?

Vitamin C is also good for collagen. And you can take a lot of it.

I take 2000 - 4000 mg daily now.

It is common. It has happened to me as well.

I've heard other lymies call it "lyme face". I had a naturally round face, it has become less round, dark circles, bags.

Once I was at my LLND and people come to her for other reasons not just lyme. But when one patient left her office to come up to the front desk, I recognized her "lyme" face pretty quickly. It was a tell tale sign that she was specifically a lyme patient.
