Anyone use homeopathic modalities for Lyme and co-infections

As for homeopathic - I have used a couple for symptoms, but not specifically for lyme. You see homeopathic is "like cures like." What that means is an aliment can be cured by a substance that produces similar symptoms of illness in healthy individuals.

So you cure a runny nose by giving yourself a small dose of something that causes a runny nose. It is a little more detailed than that, but that explains it the best I know.

As for lyme, it is so extremely varied with symptoms that you will be taking something for the foot pain, something for the head pain, something for the swollen lymph nodes, etc. But you will be helping symptoms, but not killing spirochetes.

I am not saying that homeopathic meds are bad. Not at all. And, I have taken many for achy knees, sore throat, sleeping problems, and coughing all while I had lyme. But I do not use it as the modality to get rid of spirochetes.

Talk to your doctors and see what they say. I am very interested in their response.

Do not be fooled by the ad. Ledum palustre is good for puncture wounds, stings and bites and it it good for beer making, but it does not cure lyme!

Anyway, I like the sounds of your doctors and I think it is worth a try. You can always fire them and find another. But treatment is so important and the sooner the better.

And I love your name. I think it is adorable. I wasn't with a full brain when I picked my name for here. I had just eaten my favorite vegetarian pizza (very thin crust) and had gotten sick. I was on antibiotics. Anyway I was afraid I would never have pizza again....... so it was heavy on my mind.

Since then I have been nauseous when I ate ice cream. I can eat cheese but something about those 2 things.
