Mosquito and Tick Killer

I just came across this in a catalog, in case anyone is interested. Might be worth a try if you have an infestation in your yard. I'm not sure how it works on mosquitoes, maybe the larval stage. We have tadpoles, frogs, and swallows that keep the mosquito numbers down.

If any of you try it, let us know how it works.

They also have a wrist band to repel insects.

Isn't that pyrethrin really, really super duper poisonous to aquatic life? And it doesn't just kill ticks and mosquitos, it kills everything it comes in contact with, bug-wise.

I bought some to make tick tubes which seems to be a safer way to use it. I set out about 40 of those last month so fingers crossed ticks are dying. Those are pretty nifty, check em out!
