Sounds like a herx symptom, Rife hits brain bugs harder than anything else I've tried. I didn't even realize I had that much neurolyme left until I started using it.
It's a bit scary at first because it's such a different modality that you wonder what is going on. The herxes do subside and you eventually are able to increase the time. Also the frequencies have essentially no effect on people without Lyme. My dad has no reaction whatsoever to the Borrelia frequencies that destroy me.
I think it's actually a good diagnostic tool as you know that you're reaching the end of the bacteria when all of a sudden you can start to increase the time a lot each session.
My sense is that basically each bacterium is susceptible to being killed at a low chance per time run. Say for example each bacterium has a 0.1% chance of being killed per minute of a certain frequency run. And say that your body can only handle a herx created by killing 1 million of this type of bacteria in one go. Then what you get is this curve where initially you have so many bacteria that a short run time will kill enough to bring you to the herx limit.
Each session you bite a chunk out of them and the total drops, so you need a bit more run time to kill the same number of bacteria given the probability of killing one of them. So its an exponential curve where at the end the time you can run starts to increase by a huge amount each session. I think when you hit this point of large time increases you know there aren't many left to kill.
However it's best to go slow initially.
