My GP said I'm positive and started antibiotics 30 days 200mg 2x a day and I already reached a LLMD.

If that was an Igenex WB - you'd also be CDC positive with bands 23 and 39 positive.

I'm thinking this is good news? I know for me...it was...tears of joy - both hubby and I celebrated my results with a good cry.

It's the western blot my Igenex is not back yet. Yes I cried like a baby because I will beat it for sure.

After 6 months, 2 countries, clinics, muscle biopsy, hospitals, tests, time, money and suffering I can say that I'm happy. lol
I just don't understand why they keep testing people with Elise. I got 2 negatives i could have started my treatment 6 months ago and be in a better shape. It's sad that they do this crime against people.

Definitely work with the LLMD. The GP will give you 30 days of what I'm assuming is going to be Doxy (which is bacteriostatic and not bacteriocidal). And if you don't feel better afterwards he/she may shrug their shoulders.

However a good LLMD will work with you until you are healed.

Congrats robby so happy for you! Took me 6 months, 15 doctors, 3 Western Blot/Elisa negative blood tests until I finally sent my blood to Igenex which showed me positive for Lyme and Babesia (negative for all others including Bartonella but I surely have it). It's amazing how one can go from trusting the medical establishment to help you to joining reality and realizing how much of it is not in the patient's best interest.

You will beat this with the right LLMD and treatment plan. Get ready to get nasty its going to be a long ride but you know at least what you are dealing with.

I was just pointing out that those bands positive - with Igenex standards is CDC positive.

It all started back in December, but the only place that i have been that is not a beach area that is where i live was in Tennessee 10 months ago... walked in the woods a little bit.

OLA R.V. - Parabens! That is the ticket - never give up! It took 5 years to pinpoint that I indeed have Lyme. Like you said, it is a crime how people have to suffer and jump through SO MANY hoops for so long before getting the correct help. The weird part of this is how our pets are always being tested for Lyme disease at the Vet. - it is routine here where I live - but yet it is not recognized in human medicine?!?!

When we had to take our kitty to the vet (an emergency visit at midnight) - he told me that there isn't lyme where we live... He actually said there are 'pockets' of lyme to the South of us...and to the North of us.

um....there are invisible barriers around these pockets...the ticks don't cross?

This is supposed to be an intelligent person....I just don't get the ignorance.

There has been an article in our local paper by another Vet who discussed checking for ticks on our pets...and also treating them for lyme if they have symptoms.
But, there are no articles in the papers written by GP's on the threat of lyme for people.

So...where's the logic? Our pets can get it...we take our pets for walks....we bring our pets into our homes....it's pure stupidity.
