...and the moss? I mean, actual fluffy, stringy moss-like moss. TMI, I know...
I hadn't had blueberries in a long time and ate a whole handful of dried ones (equal to half a container, probably).
I took a couple of tox-ease capsules the day before I think... a very low dose. Maybe just the combination of the two?
what's next? coi? lilypads?

Sounds like yeast or fungus to me. I don't know if you are still taking Nystatin which has side effects. Maybe try something more natural such as Jernigan's Yeast Ease.

Thanks bluelyme & Denise - I originally thought of bile because I know that can happen with too-rapid digestion but I was not particularly fast the past couple of days and I generally have a low production of bile due to palsy of the gut.
No chance of yeast/fungal... I would know LOL
Also, the pure Nystatin powder doesn't have many side effects, actually (other than die off). And I've been taking it off/on for 2 yrs so this is new and unrelated.
Thanks - I've never tried Jernigan's product and I'm sure it's probably effective short-term. But I generally don't take (or recommend) a blended product for yeast/fungus - it can create resistance to too many antifungals all at once.
I also now realize I ate some chia seeds that I didn't realize were a year expired. Several others have posted the same situation online (described exactly as I have) but no good suggestions were offered for cause. One person suggested it might be the blueberries oxidizing and creating a fermenting response... I'm wondering if maybe that plus a mold situation from the chia seeds (which smelled and looked perfectly fine but the "2016" on the bag was actually "2015".) could create moss...
