They look like a 90 year old's hands...seriously I swear they've gotten worse.
I'm getting self conscious - feel like wearing gloves.

I'm sorry that's happened to you. Early on I had skin issues. I tried a lot of different product lines and found that Dermadoctor worked amazingly well for me. My skin looks better than it did pre lyme. Some of their products are pricey, some aren't. The products tend to last a long time and they have a money back guarantee. They sell direct from their website or their products are sold in some department stores. You could call and ask what would help. If they recommend a product and it doesn't work you can send it back for a refund.

Thanks, Jrpsf.
I have very wrinkled, thin skin. Also seems like there's just skin, veins, and bones...nothing else - no fat, no collegen. Would there be a product for any of those issues. (It's not dry skin I have)

My hands look very crepey now. Not sure what to do but these infections are taking ther toll on my skin. I take collagen already. For me it feels like the water I drink goes through me too quickly and is not hydrating my skin.

I am old but never really looked it. When I got lyme I started looking very old. I take this:
www.proteinessentials.com/#!protein-essentials-home-page-1/phm1s/!/Peptan%C2%AE-Hydrolyzed-Collagen%E2%80%93Unflavored-2-LB-BAG/p/62054897/category=0
It mixes in anything!! I do it in my coffee in the morning.
I also do this:
www.biosilusa.com/products/
I did not think the biosil was working until I stopped it. My hair dresser and manicurist both notices lack of growth on my nails and hair so I figured it was also happening inside of me.
I use the drops and put them right in with my tinctures.

The collagen is okay to mix with coffee - I read the blurb on Amazon before I bought it and that was one of the reasons I got that brand. I just did not want to take another "anything" at a special time of the day. It mixes very smoothly with not one lump and no dregs left in the cup!
I love this collagen.
I have not noticed about
the biosil mixing with the tinctures. I have done it for a year and not noticed that it won't work in my tinctures.
I do take my vitamins and supplements with just plain ole water.

I think when I order next from Amazon or iHerb, I will get 'something'.
I've read about
biosil - is that similar to what you're taking PeteZa?

Agreed about
the Biosil. You might also get some benefit from gelatin (Buhher recommends Great Lake gelatin I think but don't have his book handy). Also, I would try getting some good fats in your diet - like fatty meats from grass fed animals or maybe even organ meats from grass fed animals and see if that helps. Just a thought - I'm no doc and take it with a shaker of salt ;)
p.s. I'm also looking much older. I've always had a very youthful look (was carded for alcohol in my early 40's) but lately hair is greying and thinning and my face just looks older. I need to try that biosil and see if it helps.

Girlie check out the links. The collagen is really nice and the other link is for biosil.
I get both of mine from Amazon - free shipping. Mike I did the Great Lakes Gelatin but I found this collagen
(
www.proteinessentials.com/#!protein-essentials-home-page-1/phm1s/!/Peptan%C2%AE-Hydrolyzed-Collagen%E2%80%93Unflavored-2-LB-BAG/p/62054897/category=0
) to be even better. Hubby loves it in his smoothies.

So you take both products, PeteZa?
If I was to choose one - the Biosil...or the collagen - which one would you recommend?

My brain seems to be confused about
this.
So the Biosil has collagen plus other nutrients?
Or am I totally not getting it? Lol!!
Just tell me what I should buy - one product for collagen on the backs of my hands so I can look like I'm 80 again...

I feel for you, my hands look much older than my age and I am not the least bit thin. I don't enjoy wearing jewelry... bracelets and rings since my hands look old. I thought about
having laser treatment but the skin is so thin I thought it might damage the blood vessels.

Following!
My hands look sooo old! Boney, huge veins, crooked fingers and swollen joints from the arthritis. 20 years ago I had a pre-schooler say, Teacher, your hands look like my grandpas, lol! It was funny then but if you can imagine what they look like 20 years later. Ugh!
And my face looks so old all of a sudden. I am 64 but I have always had nice skin. Now I have one droopy eyelid, sunken eyes and dry wrinkly skin. Not to mention all of the "barnacles" I am getting on my face and body! Hate what this stuff does to us. Its bad enough to feel like crap but to look like crap too? At least we know why.....I guess! Haha

Girlie, that is a tough one...... If I had to pick one only to continue???
Biosil. This was not an easy pick and I am glad I get to do both.
They both are subtle and not huge visual changes. The reason for picking Biosil is because I ran out of it and it definitely showed up that I was lacking it to my hairdresser and my manicurist.
Now what if I had of run out of the collagen powder?????? Oh my gosh, would the same thing have happened. Is it a synergy of the 2???? I have no idea. I am not stopping the use of either of them EVER again.

Just want to give my opinion. If you can get your hands on some raw chaga, preferably pretty fresh, it is very high in melanin and is the best source of antioxidants on the planet. It is more than double that of blueberries or acai. It is very good for your skin and could help repair some damage over time. I don't think it will be a miracle cure but it will keep your skin healthy.
