Yes it seems like Lyme & Co love to infest the jaw / teeth / sinus area. It is really tough to clear it from there.
I saw a holistic dentist a while back and one of the treatments was ozone injections into the jaw. I declined it because I just wasn't sure it would work that well. Now that I've started to focus on this area I've realized how extensive the infection really is. It's not like one spot that could be fixed by a bit of local ozone. It's like underneath both cheekbones, at least 4 teeth in different parts of the jaw, and also wisdom teeth extraction spots that seem to almost reach into the ear. The sinuses are also part of the whole slum complex but they seem to be clearing first.
This is coming from someone who normal dentists will say has good teeth and pretty healthy looking gums.
I'm a bit worried because reading the reports osteomyelitis (bone infection) is really, really difficult to heal. There are countless reports of people who make no progress despite loads of antibiotics and are probably dealing with infections that aren't as tenacious as Borrelia.
According to what I've read having a dentist extract the problem teeth and debride the infected bone only has a 50% success rate of eliminating the focal infection.
I think this is a huge problem for Lyme patients and I have not found any LLMDs offering a reasonable solution.
What I'm trying is a mouth rinse solution of DMSO and some antimicrobial agents. So far it seems to be working but time will tell. My current mix that I've found that works best is DMSO + Argentyn 23 + Black Cumin Seed oil + 8 drops Clove oil. This really seems to get into the deep cavitation spots. With the addition of Rife and decent immune function I'm hoping this may work.
Even after the rest of the body is healed, until this area is cleared I think an eventual relapse is likely, unless you can maintain really high immune function for the rest of your life.
