Ksnin--
I hope you're feeling a little better and taking it easy.
It's really tough to know specifics about
lyme & co. It creates such a shocking amount of inflammation that causes a surprising number of problems. Also, as you know lyme & co can also damage organs. My liver and kidneys ache and sometimes I have sharp pains that make me gasp---likely from them struggling to process something. When I increase detox, these types of symptoms improve.
I used to have severe GI attacks that would land me in the ER. The pain would make me pass out. They did the usual MRI/sonogram and "thought" they say a gall stone and were ready to go in and find out. I said wait... if you don't know for sure, let's not jump into surgery. After doing research, I decided that with all of my other GI problems that it was more likely the lyme & co infections and "palsy of the gut" sounded like the likely culprit. Here is more info on that:
www.lymenet.de/literatur/vtsherr_gut.htmAlso, it took me over a year but I finally connected the GI attacks with an herbal tincture I was taking for Bart... so once I stopped the herb, the attacks stopped. This signaled that bart was likely the root cause of the attacks and the herbs were too strong for me. So I'm now on an abx for bart (as well as a different one for lyme) and doing much better... with other GI support and detoxing my GI is doing much, much better.
Also, in general, the better my detox protocol, the fewer overall weird body-wide pains I'm getting.
I hope this is helpful... Might be easier to answer questions if you provide more about
other symptoms you may have, what your treatment is, what you're doing to detox, etc.
