Eleutherococcos and elevated BP

I've had a couple of elevated blood pressure readings the past month. My diastolic was in the 90-100 range.
I took my own BP earlier today and it was 200/100...not good! My BP has always run lowish. I keep an eye on it because of family history of hypertension.

I have frequent migraines and take Imitrex which I thought might be responsible. I decided to look into all of the meds/supplements I'm taking. One of the side effects of eleuthero is elevated BP...has this happened to anybody else?

Found the answer...I had misplaced Healing Lyme, and just found it. Buhner says it can cause a transient increase in BP that usually drops to normal in a few weeks. I guess I'll keep taking it and watch my BP.

Glad you found relevant info Kathie. But do keep an eye on it and decide in advance at what point you need to talk w/ an LLMD/ND and/or see a specialist, etc. Let us know how you're doing.

It elevated it for me and I could not take Eleuthero. So, do not worry if you cannot take Eleuthero, you can still heal!

I could not take Sida Acuta either - I got heart flutters. Just an FYI.

I thought I remembered you saying you couldn't take Eleuthero, PeteZa. I stopped it yesterday. My BP yesterday was down to 140/90. Still very high for me, but better.

Pirouette, I am going to see a LLMD soon. I've been considering it for a while and it feels like I should.
