Anyone have Therasage Portable Sauna

I have the Therasage portable Infrared sauna. I use it every other day but will use it daily now if I can.  I wrote an email and spoke with the owner; he said the materials do not off gas, he wouldn't sell it on the market if it did.  I'm wondering if anyone has this or a portable sauna.  I know a few out there have Sunlighten and love it, or have another wooden sauna.  I can't afford one right now since I am saving to get a GB4000 with MOPA.

Hey Dave,

I got a sauna for my birthday from some family members, it was really hilarious. I am a 30 yr old male and the sauna is hot pink from a Korean bag sauna, figured you would get a laugh out of that. It was roughly 150$ CDN and is a steam sauna. It is basically a rice cooker that has a tube that enters a bag built with pvc piping.

It is like this, but way pinker.

I know others steam saunas dont work for others as they need infrared, but it did for me. The first time I used it, I got a very crazy skin redness (almost like the 2nd or 3rd layer of my skin was inflammed), but it still felt so good. My skin wasn't burning like it normally was after. The heat also felt amazing.

Do you have a link for the Therasage portable Infrared sauna?

I Looked it up but couldnt find the cost. It looks like it is made of better materials than mine, but I am not worried about gassing given that its PVC, should I be?

I would be concerned with off gasing from the materials made from PVC piping so it's a form of plastic, isn't it?

PVC is a form of plastic that is used in many industries, and has varying qualities and grades. Im not sure the actual chemical properties of the PVC used in mine are off gassing, I just know it makes me feel better than not using it :)

I wonder if the water content would absorb the possible off gassing and absorb any gases as it condensates?

I'm sorry it wasn't something I considered before using it, as my wife was the one who chose it. (I guess I pissed her off with this whole lyme thing! LOL she may have been lying about it being cheaper in Pink too now that I think about it....)
