Note: I will break up my post to see if it helps with your comprehension. Many of the members have started out with poor comprehension and sometimes it helps if the post is broke up more, like what Reminder has done (ever so kindly) for you.
As Reminder said, bone broth would also be an excellent thing for you to drink daily.
I don't know much about
sodium ascorbate, but I just read that it's a form of Vitamin C, and I take larger amounts of vitamin C myself, so I would say yes it would be good to start also. Just start on very low doses and work your way up slowly. Give yourself about
3 - 5 days in between raising doses, and don't
raise your dose on anything and start something new in the following 3 - 5 days. You will want to be able to identify what caused a herx or other reaction and be able to take immediate action to lower or stop whatever it was.
Just remember to start every single thing, no matter what it is, slowly and at low doses. We like to say to "go low and slow" here a lot and this is what we mean by that. Even with detoxing.
The foot soak is easy enough. Take a small tub (like for washing dishes in) or any bucket or other thing that you can get both feet into and have enough room for several inches of water (it doesn't need to be above the ankle when your feet are in the water though) and add:
1 cup of Epsom Salt
8 ounces of Hydrogen peroxide. The 'regular' peroxide will work just fine.
Add in about
a gallon of water - or whatever it takes to make it deep enough to cover the tops of your feet. To start with, don't make the water hot - only luke warm, about
skin temperature.
Only keep your feet in the water for 5 minutes at first. If you tolerate this, then you can work on increasing the amount of time you keep your feet in the water.
I would also highly encourage you to start dry skin brushing. Most people do this once a day, some do it twice a day. You need a soft bristle body brush if your skin will tolerate that - if not, let me know and I'll help you by describing how to build up to it.
Working in small circles, with only very light pressure (you're not trying to leave scratches in the skin), you start with your feet, and work your way up your body, being careful in the more tender areas like around the inner thighs, inner arms, neck and face - but be sure to do those areas as well if you can tolerate it.
Dry skin brushing is really quite effective, but it's not something you will necessarily feel better immediately after doing it. Detoxing has more of a cumulative effect - the more times you do it, the more it helps.
If you have any questions, or can't seem to do some of these things, do NOT give up!! Believe me, there are ways to work up into detoxing regularly and using more and more detoxing routines.
about
9 years ago, when I first started trying to heal, detoxing was not ever considered important, even though we now know that it's vital and can make the difference between someone healing or not. I had tried using abx (antibiotics) for a year without detoxing!!
It was literally a wonder I survived it. I
ended up with seizures, severe cognitive dysfunction, no working memory and so, so much more. My skin was on fire daily and I had to start with a wet wash cloth to skin brush, but now I have no issues at all with dry skin brushing and actually enjoy it now.
We are all here to share our experiences and help with suggestions for you! And this is a wonderful community for that! Let us know if you have ANY questions!!!
