Weird new symptom - Babesia?

So, the last 4 weeks I've been on the Buhner herbs for Babesia. Most symptoms have subsided, but I have this new one. If I am lying down at night and am quite still, and then I turn over, I break out into a full blown drenching sweat/hot flash for about 30 seconds. The sweat also burns.

I also have these drenching hot flashes about 4 times a day, usually an hour after my herbs, so pretty sure its Babesia...This is so strange. Anyone else have this?

Babs is notorious for sweating. Sounds like you are hitting it hard, thus the uptick in symptoms. Keep going, just be sure to detox.

I agree with Krimpet, it definitely sounds like Babs. I am so glad you have gotten rid of several of your symptoms. Keep up the hard work on getting well!

Probably babs herx. How did you get diagnosed with all those infections (signature line)? Was it the zyto? My daughter did that. I wish I knew how it could magically tell someone they have all these infections. Not a believer.

Did DesBio work for you? I tried it and it didn't work for me. Someone told me it only works to stimulate IgA response in the gut only. My 2 girls and I tried it. $1500 gone! I read some marketing blurb when I was researching DesBio, and it said "Sell, sell, sell!" or something along those lines. Made me sick and pissed.

I did Buhner for a bit, and had a good outcome. I love his work.

I'm currently using bee venom therapy (bvt) with live bees for Lyme and Co's. Only costs about $30-$40 a month once you're at full protocol. Works. Not a scam. Very minimal supplements. As with any protocol and Lyme + Co's, it's very up and down. Also, it's a long road, but hopefully worth it. I watched the bvt facebook groups for 8 months before I decided to try it. Maybe something for your back pocket. :)

I'm feeling better this week! Just some burning sweat during my detox walk and some hot flashes in the middle of the night! (week 6 of Buhner Babesia protocol).

Momoftres - My LLMD works with a naturopath that uses an EDS machine to find the co-infections. I was very skeptical until I met two other patients who had been treated and were completely cured by them. I think the Des Bios has worked well. When I was very sick, I could only do 2 drops of the Bartonella remedy and I would herx horribly. It took months to get up to 10 drops. Last scan, she said it had cleared my system. I didn't really take much for the Bart, except the Buhner herbs for 3 months and a (2) 10 day rounds of rifampin, so I'm assuming the Des Bios helped with clearing it, but who really knows?!?!

I didn't herx that much on the Des Bios Borrellia/Babesia in the beginning, only recently herxing with this new crop of Babesia. I take it and immediately get a hot flash and break out into a sweat. However, I took the Des Bios tonight, and nothing happened except ringing ears. Yea!!!

I'm not sure why it cost that much. I've been on it since October, and maybe spent $500. I know that everyone responds so differently and what works for some, won't work for others. That is what makes this so difficult to cure! thanks for the info on bee venom. Sounds interesting! Glad you are feeling better.
