Tumors in skin 😳

Hey all!

Just wondering if anyone has INVISIBLE skin masses. They can only be felt and are hard lumps- like marbles or peas- my friend says those are what her doctor tells her are cancerous.

I have several on my buttocks, one on inner thigh, one on thyroid, and one on back of knee. Most are not painful once established, but when they are fist forming, they ache like a deep bruise for 2-3 days.

PCP and LLMD don't see anything, but LLMD says its normal with Lyme- however she didn't feel them. PCP said X-ray was negative, but what does an X-ray show? 🙄

I'm worried about them because more keep forming! Has anyone had a biopsy done on one? I am going to my pcp on Monday to push for more testing, but he'll likely shrug it off.

If he does, I'm getting a new doctor.

Anyone else have hard balls under the skin that hurt with a flare or hurt when you're getting a new one? I haven't seen any posts like this!

I have a pea-size marble in my upper quad. It does worry me, although it's not painful. I thought it was just a clogged lymph node, but it's never gone down the way the others have. Please email me and let me know what you doctor thinks it is. I can't get any doctor interested in it (what is in the water here..the doctors are all so bad).

Cancer is in the back of my mind too...I think Traveler has had these. Maybe she'll chime in.

Really? I thought Traveler hadn't dealt with them! Im very worried about them because they are hurting and now I have bone pain and leg swelling. 😕

I have a bunch of these. I've found them all over my body, in other tissue, on bones, etc. I have one on my collarbone that I'll rub sometimes whenever I'm just.. thinking or whatever.

I think some could be lymph nodes, but I feel as those some are just what you said, strange masses, collections of tissue.

They could be cysts, but I imagine cysts as being somewhat round, protruding, etc. I had them checked out by a doctor quite a number of years ago now, before I even knew I had Lyme disease, and was told that they were sebaceous cysts. No explanation as to why they're there, what I could do to resolve them, etc. I do not feel that they're exactly normal to have, so I don't really get that, doctor.

But, yeah, I do not think that is what they are. Like I said, I imagine cysts as being more like a ball in nature, you know? These are like tiny, little waves, you know? Just little patches of sore, tough tissue.

Again, some could very well be lymph nodes, but I don't think they all are. Just my gut instinct.

Anyway, if they were cancerous, I feel like I'd probably be dead by now.

That's probably what they are, yes. I've heard that before, now that you mention it. Subcutaneous nodules. Must remember.

I still have some swollen lymph, but they used to be REALLY bad, before I started doing more to detox, red root especially.

Ones in my groin would be like quarter-sized and raised.

Ones in my neck would feel inflamed.

The red root really works.

Anyway..

I still have an area in which most symptoms seem to come from, and there are 3 remaining lumps - two have diminished significantly, and the main one, while stubborn, is shrinking ..... Interestingly - or, very telling - is that they have only shrunk in size after huge herx-type upheavals ....

They are bartonella related

Bartonella are the only bacteria able to produce angiogenic tumors in humans, very much like the Agrobacterium species that produce tumors in plants”
