From Taft University ...a long study. I wonder if they take from out of state. They want to prove that lyme persist after abx.

No thank you! I think real ticks are enough for me. I certainly do not want someone planting a lab tick on me and then collecting it days later!

Under the criteria it listed "Healthy volunteers"

'healthy' doesn't go with the other criteria : 'continuing symptoms after treatment for lyme disease" OR
"untreated lyme arthritis"....

I chuckled when I read that.

eww - and they're going to put a tick on you to attach....I don't care if it's 'lyme free'


I don't get what the ticks are for??? Are they going to test them to see if they got the bacteria from the volunteers?

How can they be sure the ticks are disease free when testing may not catch 70%+ of the time?

What generation of lab raised tick? Where did they get the ticks to begin with & if the size of a pin, how did they extract enough blood, liquid from their body to test (with inaccurate testing available!)?

"Criteria for the diagnosis and therapy for Lyme disease can be found at The clinical assessment, treatment, and prevention of Lyme disease, human granulocytic anaplasmosis, and babesiosis: clinical practice guidelines by the Infectious Diseases Society of America."

IDSA-ie good old' boyz club with double talk...I thought IDSA didn't endorse clinical, requiring positive CDC tests? I also thought the ILADS replaced the other guidelines?

Actually, the numbers are that up to 70% of those actually infected with Lyme will get a negative ELISA/IFA test.

Up to 50% of those actually infected will test negative on the Western Blot.

There are very, very few false positives.

Consciousness? This is a govt study, "sponsored" by NIH who throughout their study description give reference to CDC/IDSA. That right there, to some, might make the study flawed before even saying go!

Meanwhile, concurrent taxpayer studies are spending millions to show over antibiotic use. Put 2 & 2 together here.

And then do just a wee bit of digging to see what other endorsed "discoveries" are actually on the radar.

The powers that be already deny chronic, yet are now (reluctantly & with "different" distinction) flinging about the word "persistent." The game continues denying chronic Lyme--meaning it's no longer Lyme, it's become post-lyme or arthritis...By their definition, completely untreatable with any abx combo.

But they can sure agree to dispense arthritis drugs or pain management drugs, yada. This basis divorces any root infection causing LD that can be microbially treated or cured. This paves the way for very real & scary (& very profitable) things that are going on with DNA, etc.

What's funny too is on this site, it states:

Clicking on this provided link, the message appears:
