Caramba has it right.
Does it look like any of these:

You can start your daughter on astragalus right away, or Lyme nosodes.

I would say looks very much like bulls-eye. It looks like there is a clearing in center? I would get her on antibiotics!

It sure looks like a bulls eye to me. Please get her started on treatment of some type.

From what I can see it looks like a bull's eye. If you have a drop in clinic, you can take her there now if you can't get in with the doctor right away.
She needs to be treated as soon as you can.

Yes. But that is the most prominent and then I noticed like four more less prominent but all same type pattern. The middle is a small tiny bump tho....

I did. Took her to our dermatologist. He is putting her on Amox teaspoon and a half for three wks. Plus a bug cream just in case it's something else. I'm gonna try to load other pics.

I am not good with antibiotics and the doses -- But the one that I hear is always taken is doxy initially. I would make that appointment with your md. I don't know that a dermatologist is that familiar with treatment for lyme disease.

Does anyone know if the rash can present itself only on the legs ?
I count five and she's going for blood work. Any other suggestions. Thx so much for replying so fast

I'm so sorry that your baby has to go through this but hopefully you are catching it early. As Peteza suggested I would double-check on the most appropriate antibiotic at this time.

My llmd told me that he got a tick bite and that his entire torso had a rash for weeks.
That wasn't exactly what I wanted to hear when I went to him, but he was just making me aware that the rash could spread or appear in different spots after the initial bite.
I never got anything else and I am so sorry your wee one has to go through this.
You must be frantic. I would be. Deep breath and it will all work out. You caught it very early and the outcome is so much faster and better with early detection.

Here is the dosage for amoxy:
Amoxicillin- Adults: 1g q8h plus probenecid 500mg q8h; doses up to 6 grams daily are often needed
Pregnancy: 1g q6h and adjust.
Children: 50 mg/kg/day divided into q8h doses.
Burrascano's Treatment Guidelines for tick bite + bulls-eye:
EARLY LOCALIZED - Single erythema migrans with no constitutional symptoms:
1) Adults: oral therapy- must continue until symptom and sign free for at least one month,
with a 6 week minimum.
2) Pregnancy: 1st and 2nd trimesters: I.V. X 30 days then oral X 6 weeks
3rd trimester: Oral therapy X 6+ weeks as above.
Any trimester- test for Babesia and Ehrlichia
3) Children: oral therapy for 6+ weeks.

So many friends are saying its a bite not a tick and looks more like a spider. Is giving Amox the safe route. Dr (deem) prescribed. He was the only one I could get in to see on Friday @430 when I found it. Btw she isn't complaining of anything. No fever pains and seems normal.

Stage two ? I mean I didn't mention. That I wa diagnosed five wks post partum with her .. Meaning that the doctor was unsure if I had contracted and was dormant until the stress of her birth forced it out .. If that makes any sense.
Anyhow she was tested at six months and. Negative except for band 41.. No symptoms to date.
Blood work was ordered today .. We all know how that goes tho..

Yes. I had a bite on my back that swelled into a weird shape almost like a kidney bean. Which would debunk the in utero theory. I always assumed that was my bite bc it all made sense at the time. I became very tired and lethargic with weird symptoms and leg pains.
I'm going to contact my LlmD
Maybe I should start the Amox for the wkend to get something in her just in case.

Yes, start her on the Amox. right away...
In a previous post, I pasted the amount - you could do the calculation based on her weight.
(50 mg/kg/day - divided into 3 doses)

40 lbs equals 18.14 Kgs.
So according to the chart (which is well known), she should be taking 900 mgs per day, in divided doses for at least 6 weeks to be sure she reaches the right levels in her bloodstream for it to be helpful for her.

She's taking 200 mg liquid so tablespoon and a half is 300? Three times .. Sounds right then. God bless. Thx again!
